ANSWER : Crystallized Pineapple

I inhibit magical as well as muggle world,
It is a candy-like sweet delicacy found in both worlds.
I catalyzed an interaction which led the truth to be unfurled.
Tom Riddle used it to earn goodwill of Slughorn ( who was very fond of crystallized pineapple ) in order to extract the horcrux information from him.

Most important things could be accomplished under harmony,
Tom Riddle did not have to resort to any brutal means , simple cunning flattery & charm (which he was naturally good at ) helped him extract the all so important Horcrux information from Slughorn.
There is a thin line between bribery & common courtesy , I am a testimony.
There is indeed a thin line between charming people with cunning tricks bordering on bribery ala gifting crystallized pineapple to the person who is extremely fond of it & just abiding by common courtesy whilst presenting a gift to the host of the party . Tom Riddle knew it & played very well.

I facilitated a plan , too little too late -it was realized,
The plan of acquiring horcrux information was indeed facilitated by Tom's cunning charms like gifting crystallized pineapple , moreover , he not only succeeded in acquiring the horcrux info but also ended up creating seven horcruxes which was realized by Dumbledore & Harry way too late .
I proved to be just as dangerous as I am sweet , for I am crystallized.
Crystallized Pineapple is very sweet in taste & it was used to sway Slughorn to acquire horcrux information with catastrophic results. Any other sweet wouldnt have worked the same way since Slughorn was fond of crystallized pineapple .

Aragog ?

Many have fallen 'before' me - in this line 'before' stands for time or position ?.. as in - Many have fallen in front of me or Many have fallen (long ago) before me ?

Also , is the magical creature/beast mentioned in one of the HP books ?.. or is it a creature from Magical beast book which was released separately ?..

Edit : Kelpie ? .. Kappa ?
