( PP fits here but I think Quirrell too fits in some ways).. Quirell was cowardly wizard , hence he can also be compared with rodent qualities..

Yes, coal here since used metaphorically could b the sorcerer's stone hoping to bring back Voldy to life.

Success I accomplished so I felt,

He was able to overpower all security measures to reach the mirror of erised but was not able to overcome the final hurdle for obvious reasons.

My services culminated in my brutal end,

His brutal end is known..but I dont understand how killing of unicorn affected him ?.. it affected his master and not him per se.. so m not sure about this clue..

But yes, the unicorn's blood did affect voldy n may b he was unaware of the side effects ( although I always felt voldy knew what he was doing while drinking the blood).. or may b its just about how terrible the side effects were & the side effects here r perhaps mentioned with respect to the master & not the servant.. so may b it fits the clues after all..
