however, forgive me but i think this particular line "Without him she is of no use" doesnt quite fit in. Memories and pensieve form a pair- agreed. But memory is not dependant on pensieve(unlike vice versa) as not everyone wants to peruse them. :) In order words, the sole purpose of a pensieve is to peruse memories. It is meant for that activity. But memories need not necessarily be perused and hence it wont render them useless in contrary to want the line says. :) no hard feelings laks but having studied a bit of a law, i somehow didnt find the phraseology appropriate. :) but besides this, i really loved this particular riddle of yours :)
