Yes really . But I did not fit in all clues. I figured N and A and then took the last 2 lines as a description of that horrible creature but never thought that G I N and I were all parts of the words mentioned in the riddle itself. Of course you said to see but I was still blind.🤪

Anyway I had thought of putting it as a guess 😳.

Coming to next, first crappy guess ...broomstick

Doesn't come for free of course & brings happiness ( atleast for Harry lol )

It's two edged & hard to balance ( not everyone can do that na ) , easy to lose & hard to get back ( as Harry lost his nimbus easily to whomping willow but couldn't repair it & had to wait for a new one )

Broomstick was solution for Harry's First task in Triwizard Tournament But had a complication that it had to be summoned...

No idea about rest
