Rupert Grint 'shocked' by co-star's new style
(MusicRooms) --
Rupert Grint thought his Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson's drastic new haircut was "shocking" when he first saw it.
Emma plays Hermione Granger in the popular series of films, while Rupert plays Ron Weasley. Filming for the last movie recently finished, and Emma celebrated by chopping off her long locks. She is now sporting a cropped, pixie style, and Rupert was initially unsure what to make of it.
"It was shocking at first, but now I'm warming to it," he was overheard admitting.
Emma is proud of her new look, and has always wanted to experiment with her tresses. After deciding on the radical restyle she quickly posted pictures of herself on her Facebook page to gauge fans' reactions.
"Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago. Feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years," she wrote. "The stylist just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out. It felt amazing. I love it."
It was rumoured Emma had taken the decision in order to win a film role.
