Drug charge for Potter film actor

Jamie Waylett plays Draco Malfoy's right-hand man in the Potter films

A teenage actor who appears in the Harry Potter movies has been charged with growing cannabis plants.

Jamie Waylett, 19, who plays bully Vincent Crabbe in the film series, allegedly grew 10 cannabis plants at his home in Kilburn, north London.

He will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on 16 July.

The world premiere of the next movie instalment - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - is taking place in Leicester Square on Tuesday.

Mr Waylett was arrested in April.

He has been in all the Harry Potter films as the right-hand man to character Draco Malfoy.

Mr Waylett will appear in court alongside John Innis, 20, from Barnet, north London, who was charged with possession of 11 bags of cannabis and a knife.

Its official guys, Jamie is back on the sets of Harry Potter after a not so long pause. Many of the cast and crew members are happy to have him back but some are still reluctant, like our main producer David Heyman. But Jamie has confirmed that no more scandals will be around about him.

But,HBP did well when compared to the other HP movies..It even held a record(I forget what it is)which was later broken by New Moon(Damn it!)..

I know...New Moon did not do well at all when you compare it with HBP...but sadly...very sadly...it got numerous awards more than HBP...all because of public voting.....coz people don't understand the HP books and prefer vampire love stories where you only snog and nothing else. :-/
