Who saw Harry Potter??

who has seen harry potter!!

OMG OMG THANKS FOR THE TOPIC, was just gonna post this! I saw it TODAY! :P :P
SPOILERS SPOILERS BEWARE!
I liked it, but not the best. Here's my review:
Good things:
1. Special effects- No surprise there, right? HP movies are always brilliant in that department.
2. Horace Slughorn- The guy who played Slug was really good- the characterization was exactly like the book.
3. Some dialogues were exactly as they were in the book- which is ALWAYS a good thing.
4. Dan and Micheal Gambon were phenomenal as Harry and Dumbledore- did complete justice to their characters.
5. Tom Felton as Draco- he was just WOW! I never liked Draco but after this movie I have just warmed upto his character! His duality and difficulty was portrayed by Tom perfectly.
6. The final cave scene - BRILLIANT!
7. Snape❤️- I always love him. ALWAYS😉
8. Keeping all R/Hr scenes from the book in the movie
Things I DIDN'T like:
1. LAVENDER ARGH! - Okay I have nothing against the actress who played her, but she was OTT and over acted in every scene. I also know that Lavender is supposed to be annoying and OTT, but puhleeze NOT AS MUCH AS THEY SHOWED HER IN THE MOVIE.
2. Adding comedy where it's not needed- Like they show Harry flirting with everyone, um excuse me but Harry ain't like that.
3. Harry/Ginny- okay first of all H/G fans don't kill me for this. They showed wayyy too much of HG in the movie, which I would have been okay with HAD THEY FOLLOWED THE BOOKS! It was so random and there was NO continuity WHATSOEVER! Okay, so flirts with a random person at the start of the movie, goes to Burrow and flirts with Ginny and she flirts with him too, but then they show she's dating Dean WTH! It was not like that in the books, and they kiss in the room of requirement RANDOMLY! It was executed poorly and didn't follow the books.
4. Burrow getting burned- UM NO, didn't make sense.
5. The last scene with DD dieing and Snape escaping was good but HELLO there was supossed be a battle happening there and Snape had to say THAT DON'T CALL ME A COWARD! They cut that out grrrr and was the whole hogwarts like sleeping or something, there was no battle! lol!
6. R/Hr- Okay, R/Hr are my fav couple and they always mess it up, I know a lot of R-H fans rave about Rupes Emma chemistry but sorry to say I don't see it. I loved their scenes but felt a lack of sensitivity there. AND THEY CUT OUT THE SCENE WHERE HERMIONE ASKS HIM OUT TO THE SLUGHORN'S PARTY! How could they grrr😡 And where are the silent eye-contacts that R/Hr share in the books, where is the emotional bonding? And you guys know what they added, DAN-EMMA (Harry Hermione) scenes😡

I saw it....and it was DISAPPOINTING....heck....they changed the WHOLE story...!!! Ridiculous...!!! cant we have Chris columbus or mike newell back??!!! ..i am not liking this david yates chap!!! 😡

but i loved the Dan-Emma scenes...how i wish Harry-Hermy were a couple 😍...LOL...!!!

But the movie was not upto the mark...!!!👎🏼👎🏼...

Columbus and Newell were horrible. Columbus followed the book TOO much and there was no creativity in it! Newell was actually alright but because of the cuts he made that's why Yates has to cut the stuff he does. Like Gof, the house elves working at the school were not in it so that's why Dobby hasn't been in either Ootp or HBP.

Yates is a doing a great job, the movies are adaptions of the books not transcripts. Things have to be left and everything that in essential stays there.

i am not saying..they should show EVERYTHING similar to the book...minor changes are acceptable...BUT changing the WHOLE script is just pointless...then he should write his own HP books....ROFL...!!!
like today... the last fight scene between OOTP and death eaters...he just skipped that part...it was the stupidest thing i saw...!!!🤢
anyways..you are liking it...great...😃...but for me it was horrible..!!!🤢LOL...!!

They're doing a BIG battle scene in the end of Deathly Hallows, Heyman was saying 30 minutes so don't worry it'll be made up then.

Labib, you're gonna detest the Harry-Ginny stuff, I did too, trust me it feels really random especially in terms of continuity from the last book. 😆 Plz see it soon, I wanna discuss it with you.😳
But it's not that I don't like Yates, he's really good, I just feel that in the process of trying to make the movie funny and commercial, they always mess up the characterization. One more good thing, I love the opening scenes, really great scenery.

i felt it was too short, but thatwas probably cuz i enjoyed myself, besides the fact my nine year old siter botherd me every two seconds asking who Dumbledore was or where Voldemort was......

My take of the movie:Warning:SPOILER!!!!!!!!!
Ron and Draco[Rupert and Tom] Were by far, i think the best in the movie.... Ron and his love potion dilemma and his whole entire love stoy..... Draco and his Death Eater probs, felt sorry for him...
Lavendar, oh plz, i felt like jumping into to the screen and giving her a peace of my nmind.....
I felt so sad for hermione, luved the whole hermione-in tears-and- harry-comforting-her-scene. HArry is the sweetest older brother Hermione never had.
The whole Ginny and Harry kiss was, i dont noe, a bit random.... I think that shopuld have been better....
Luved the Hermione-HArry-Library incident and during Slughorn's party.. Cormac really is stupid....
The thing in the Hosptial wiong was nice too...
the thing i luved most was Felix Felicis...
HArry and Slughorn are just something..

Pluz, dumbledore and Snape were amazing. as always..
Some parts were missing, but i felt the scens that were added, sorta filled it in....
Luved the whole beggiinning, muggles....
The end was nice with the pheonix flying...
Its gud there was no funeral, the whole harry-going-to-dumbledore-and-sitting-besdie-him-while-other-students-and-staff-raised-theri-wands scne was touching, i dont noe how but yeah it was..
man thats a mouthful.... but the scnes are still vivd in my mind, as i only saw it yesterday.pln to go back again, probably when its in 3D

Love your Tom Felton siggie, he looked HOT in the movie and was just outstanding in his performance.
