Honestly, I didn't like Aanchal's characterization from day 1. I mean top law graduate isn't supposed to behave in such a dumb way. She was given big dialogues in the beginning, dash-dash-dash camera zoom to her movements to give the impression of superwoman but alas not even once did she behave like that.
Even in the court room, that was the worst prosecution I had seen in my entire life. Kabir barges in, brings in more facts & Aanchal was like- what to do now.
She forgets her mission in a snap overpowered by guilt from nowhere. And then to add to that she allows herself to be pampered by both the brothers one by one & take full advantage of her. She herself want to feel like the queen of the world.
As a law graduate, does she not know how criminals tend to think & behave. Or she is so dumb to think, human beings are like a white-painted canvas with no hint of a spot.
She works like pendulum who doesn't know what decision to take. She falls for Kabir in a milli-snap, then agrees to marry Ranvir in micro-snap. Her brother is better than her. He atleast knows something about law & how things tend to work.
Aanchal herself is to be blamed for falling into this mess. I mean what is the desperation to get married at all. Hey girl, you are independent, earning & well-off without the Raichand men.
Don't even get me started on Kundali dosh. She defends both the brothers unconditionally as if they have always been this big-saints. She forgives Kabir in no time.
Honestly, I hope Aanchal has something up her sleeve. Because to me her character is simplest of all. Her actions are very much predictable & too cliched. F**k this female characterization logic. I hope her dialogue "Jinki soch itni giri hui ho, unke baare me mein sochna bi ni chahti" is used somewhere in an impactful way.
But then it is Indian TV show, Aanchal will end up with either Ranvir or Kabir. I would have hoped she dumps both of them & finds someone else for herself.
