The episode starts with Laajo trying to explain Puthi's mother about her daughter's happiness in studying and not marrying an old man who doesn't want a wife but a mother for his children. Puthi's mother tells her that its a burden on parents to have unmarried daughters and that the family is very good they are very rich and Puthi will be happy there. Laajo tells her that money is not everything if there is no love in the relationship it wont last and that the old man might die in a few years then what would happen to Puthi. The mother refuses to hear anything and tells Laajo to leave.
In the city Nikhil comes home and finds it empty he sits down and immediately Laajo appears in front of him. He closes his eyes and she goes away only to reappear again. In him imagination Laajo is laughing at him and tells him that she knows he missing him. Nikhil feels happy and gets up to say but she stops him and says that he will never be able to say it. She also brings a sugarcane and they both have a funny moment, she tells him to put his hand on his heart to see if he misses her. He does so and at the same time Nani comes in and wakes him up. After leaving, Nikhil smiles and again puts his hand on his heart.
In the village Laajo is teaching her mother how to write their family members names. Saraswati thinks to herself that her decision was right as showing her the divorce papers would only make her sad. Rambachan comes in and Laajo talks to him about Puthi, she is angry that she is getting forcefully married. Laajo's parents tells her that it is their personal matter and that Laajo should not interfere again.
The next morning in the city all the family members are gathered in the living room and discussing about engagement. Nikhil comes in and sits down even though he is surrounded by everyone he again thinks of Laajo. he sees her everywhere laughing, smiling, playing with a saree. He feels happy and his dream is disturbed by Barkha he suddenly makes a decision to himself that he cant get engaged now and leaves.
In Ishaana's house all of the friends are there and are playing karaoke. Nikhil comes in while Ishaana was singing and takes her inside to talk something important. He tells her inside that everything is going fast and that they should postpone the engagement. ishaana is shocked and Aditi also comes in and shouts at Nikhil she asks him for a solid reason. He says that he wants the divorce to be over. Ishaana tells her mom to leave as she wants to talk to him alone. Nikhil tells her that he wants to wait till Laajo signs the divorce papers. She is shocked on hearing Laajo again and gets irritated and tells him that even if they live under the same roof laajo would always be there between them. he tells her to undertand and then leaves.
In the village Laajo is staring at the calendar and thinks that only two days are left for Nikhil's engagement, Saraswati comes in and asks if she is thinking about Puthi. She suddenly rememebers about her friend and runs outside and after whispering something in Lakhi's ears.
In the city Aditi asks Ishaana the reason and she tells him everything, Aditi calls up Barkha and asks her if her family is creating some sort of drama with her daughter. she tells her that Nikhil came and said to postpone the engagement. Barkha is shocked and reassures her that she had no idea all this has happened.
In the village Laajo convinces Bansi to help her and after a lot of persuasion he agrees. They put a sharp wire and cover it with leaves on the road and the children have brought some water with different colours. Laajo is very happy and says that now the old man wont even think of marrying Puthi. they show a car arriving in Sonbarsa and they show glimpses of a man who is drawing and who is called SK.
Precap. SK's car hits the wire and Laajo shouts at him to go back and never come back again.
