The episode starts with a tea stall man giving advice to Laajo and her dad for taking the next bus to the city as this one would be filled with many people. However, Laajo refuses saying that she has to go to some classes, the bus comes and the tea stall guy helps Laajo to get inside the bus by telling everyone that It is important that she gets in as she is going to study there in the city.
In the city, everyone is discussing the engagement's decorations when Nani knees start paining. Nikhil who also present there remembers about the oil and asks Chayaa to get it for him from him room. He gives the oil to Nani and Meera tells them that only Laajo could have done this, despite breaking of all ties and in her sickness she didn't forget about Nani's pain.
While travelling in the bus Laajo spots Puthi in the same bus and is shocked to her there. Puthi tells her that her mother locked her in the room and she has escaped so that she can go to the city to study in the college. She tells her that she doesn't want to get married now and wants to become independent. Laajo is happy on her decision but tells her that running away like that is no solution.
In the city Ishaana is discussing about her clothes and Nikhil is sitting there looking very disinterested. Ishaana gets irritated on Nikhil's behavior and asks him if he is thinking about what Rancho said the other day about Laajo loving him. He gets angry on her and asks her why she brings the topic of Laajo again, she tells him that all she wants is for them to be happy.
Laajo and Puthi return to the village and she explains Puthi to talk to her mother. Her mother is very angry at Puthi blames Laajo for this and bans her daughter from living in the house. Puthi apologizes to her and tells her that she just wanted to study. Laajo also explains her that Puthi did nothing wrong in the city. Puthi's mom gets very angry and tells Puthi to stay away from Laajo.
Ayesha goes to meet Adhiraaj at his place and he tells her about rats near his place, she gets scared and runs around his house. They both talk about some things like who cleans his house and the utensils. He gives her another one of his newspaper article and this time with a dictionairy so that she can understand everything.
In the city, Ishaana and Nikhil are at a club and behave like strangers for fun. She gets emotional in all this and asks Nikhil to promise him that he will never leave his side. They both dance together.
The next morning, Chayya comes to wake up Nikhil with tea, he goes back to sleep and then imagines Laajo there in his room and giving him tea and by telling him that she cant stay here any longer and that he should wake up. Nikhil takes the tea cup and immediately drops it when Laajo disappears. He thinks to himself that he should never think about Laajo he should only think about Ishaana. Chayaa comes in and asks him the reason for his smile, he tells her its because he is finally getting engaged to Ishaana.
Rocky (their party planner) is telling Nani and Barkha about the change in plans for the decorations and adds something about a spring theme. He gives Ishaana a gold dress and Nikhil a green blazer much to his dismay. There is a whole sequence about Nikhil refusing and Ishaana and Rocky convincing himđĽą
Rambachan is waiting for Laajo to arrive as she is late, some random villager tells him that maybe Laajo ran away and that she cant be trusted she must be doing something else in the city rather that studyingđ¤˘. Laajo arrives and she tells her father that she will come back after sometime as she has to go the clinic. Saraswati and Lakhi are at home when they get a burning smell, they got and see Laajo's books burnt at the same time Laajo comes in and sees her books like that she is sad and breaks down.
In the city Nikhil and Gunja are discussing about the clothes when the gardener comes in with two roses. Nikhil gives these roses to Ishaana and Chayya asks the gardener why he cut those flowers they were the ones that Laajo grew. On hearing that Ishaana drops the flowers on the groundđ¤˘. Nikhil takes her home and Gunja picks them up to put in a vase. In the car Ishaana is very excited about going to London and has made some major plans about shopping and seeing the sea. On hearing this Nikhil remembers the promise he had made to Laajo about taking her to see the sea shore.
In the village rambachan is not able to find out who burnt the books. He is angry and says that people are very jealous over here. Three men come out with sticks in their hand.
Precap. Rishi mentions Laajo's name while eating and Nikhil gets really angry and Laajo is saying that she will not get scared and no one can stop her from studying
