pssshhh...nikhil is going to eat his words. ishana and him don't have love, that is not love that is a toxic relationship where only one partner is continuously giving, pleasing, and worshiping the other partner. where one turns batsy-crazy over the littlest of things. someone who jumps from point A to Point D without processing B or C. nikhil is infatuated with ishana nothing more or less.

i do think you can love someone once in a lifetime, but i dont think its impossible when you lose someone, that you cannot find it again or even more so. especially when we grow from our experiences as we get older, our perceptions expand along with our views i think the person we think we are in love with when we were 18 or 19, it might not be the same compared to when we are 30 or 40.

nikhil lacks experience so he doesn't know what love is...he has only been with ishana so he wouldn't truly know and understand that there could be something greater and better out there if and when he lets himself realize that the love he has for ishana is nothing more than fear of loneliness and need for affection and love will he realize the errors of his words

I don't think what Nikhil and Ishana share is true love like everyone has been harping on (in the show not the forum😆) and even if it is (which I doubt😆) I don't think it's impossible to fall in love more than once in a lifetime. And I agree that till date, Nikhil doesn't know the true meaning of love and when he does, he'll realize he only has that for Laajo!😊

Agreed Di. I too think what he shares with Ishana is more like puppy love combined with differed love (what he was missing from his mom he got or saw in Ishana). I think it will be a while but he will eventually realize it!

thanks Parm, its just frustrating how no body in the show is actually asking themselves this questions.
everyone keep saying Ishaana is Nikhil's true love, but we have seen people who cant leave without each other., who run away from their homes, their family and even friend so nothing can stop their love.

i this case we see a young village, non seductive, chatterbox girl who Nikhil just meet in less that a week coming first in the most important decision of his life...and no gun was placed on his hand.
and no body thinks he may be in love?

I AGREE WITH YOUR LASR POST Ishaana gave him that hugs and kisses, that i love you, that where are you, that i miss you that his mother refused him so she became a mother figure/lover. thats why she can also control what Nikhil can wear, eat, and even enjoy. it like mothers can.

oh he is most definitely going to eat his words.. the man is talking of love yet he has not the first inkling of what true love is.. what he has with ishana is simply a need she has become a habit over time he does not love but enjoys the idea of being in love.. he needs her simply because she fulfills the emptiness in his life.. but now he will gradually understand the meaning of intense emotions as he gets closer to Laajo.. he already places her opinion above others he wished to keep his promise but more then that he wanted to see her happy he wanted her to see he can stick to his word..

what I found amusing is the man who can't stop thinking about his so called love is only truly being himself when he is with the one he calls a compromise.. he laughs openly and sincerely his emotions are so much more natural when he is not worried about doing something wrong.. he loves laajo because she allows him to put his guard down he does not comprehend it now but love does not mean he can;t make mistakes.. with Ishana there is always a continuous fear but with his wife he can be himself and be happy in the process it's really as simple as that..

btw I agree avyarima well said.. he simply can't see Laajo in pain irrespective of her independent personality and her courage he could not leave her to bear the consequences all alone.. he states he was thinking about her family but it was much more then that there was concern for her well being and more importantly even now a man truly in love would have accepted his mistake and let her be.. but here he can't seem to let her go.. and a separation will make him understand the place she holds in his life and his heart..!!

So very true...this happens all the time. If the family are not raazi the couple do sometimes run away. I still find it odd and very confusing what Nikhil expects from either girl...Neither one is he willing to give up...

I actually never thought of that as an option either. Not that early on that is...Now, it is definitely a possibility. I think it has just become habit for him and for all those around him to harp on how much the two of them love each other, and cannot live without one another

It's unfortunate though because he is a thoughtful/caring lad (most of the times) and will feel bad for leading Ishana on...)

(again 100% in agreement with you here. This is something else he will realize soon enough (sooner rather than later please😆). He is himself and he will realize and start to compare the two girls and the two relationships and as we all know Laajo and LaKhil's relationship will come out on top!
