Chapter- 8

Manjari- " What took you so long & where are the dresses?"

Arpita was so scared that she couldn't utter a word. With great difficulty she managed to speak, "I- I didn't like any of them."

Manjari- " You didn't like them ? Arpi, you haven't selected a single dress & I'm not leaving until you buy one."

Arpita wanted to refuse but could not.

Arpi- " Manjari, I don't want any dress. Pls chalo yahaan se. Im very tired."

At the same time Shikha & RV also arrived after finishing their shopping.

Shikha- "Oh ho Arpita! Just pick up one dress. Please??"

Arpita couldn't refuse. She randomly picked up one dress unaware that it was already chosen by Avdhesh. She didn't even bother to look at the dress.

Arpi- "Done. Now. . . shall we leave"

Manjari- "OMG.. Arpi.. it's such a beautiful dress.. You'll look like a doll."

RV- "Girlies.. we're getting late"

All four of them leave & go home. When Arpi reached home she was very tired. She didn't have her dinner & decided to hit the bed. On entering her room, she closed the door, threw the bags on the bed and just sat down on the bed. Suddenly her eyes fell on the dress which she had purchased today. Without thinking she took out the dress, she liked it. Arpita quickly went & tried it out. She stood admiring herself in front of the mirror. "Hmm.. Not bad Arpi", she was talking to herself. She didn't know why but she felt something special in this dress. The dress in some way reminded her about Avdhesh. And why not? Afterall it was selected by him. She unknowingly smiled.

"Why am I thinking about that creep? Arpi.. tu pagal hai."

While she was thinking about him, to her surprise, she felt his lips touching her back just below her shoulder. She looked in the mirror & saw him putting his hands around her waist. She wanted to protest, but something stopped her from doing so.

Avdhesh gently pushed her hair aside & brushed his lips on her slender neck. That kiss was enough to bring her out of her thoughts. She quickly turned around.

Arpi- "Avdhesh?? What are you doing here..& how did you get into my room?"

Avi- "Well, Im Avdhesh Singh Thakur. I can come & go wherever & whenever I want. I have.."

Arpi- (before he could complete)"Would you please cut short your 'self praising' rant? Get to the point."

Avi- "Why do you always get angry? Too much anger is bad for health. By the way, (coming closer to her, he whispered in her ears) You look hot!!"

Arpi slightly blushed, but realizing the situation, she made an angry face.

Avi loved to see like that. He was very happy to see her wearing the dress. He knew she would like it. It suited her well. She really looked like a princess. Avdhesh fell more in love with her. He was just staring at her & even Arpita looked in his eyes. She again saw the immense love for her. She thought to herself ' look at him Arpita, HE loves you so much.'

Avdhesh's thoughts- 'I love you very much Arpita. Why can't you see my love for you. I will never let you go Arpita. Never.'
