Hey Shwetha😊,
Very good post👏 Agree with you on the contrasts between Arpi's and BJ's love........the two could not be more different. Arpi is all about self-lessness and concern, while BJ's love is possessive. I would go so far as to say that were Avi to reciprocate BJ's love (horror of horrors😛) and were Arpi to know, then she would gladly have given up her claim on him and left the two of them alone😡.....she is only concerned about his well-being and happiness. BJ on the other hand, wants him as a possession.

Hi Shwetha,
Also, I am not sure G. Greer quotes suits her, to my mind Geer will always be the writer of the 'Female Enuch'...!!😃😆....Bhauji maybe strong, but she has needs too...one of them is to be looked after by a man, to have a lover and experience all that entails.....but circumstances made her hard and so she finds it better to communicate abrasivley and mannishly...but the need is there, hidden...only coming out when she thinks she is unobserved.....
You are probably wishing I had never responded now...😉😆😆

To Dreamy's point, I would say that in a broad context, BJ may be no less revolutionary then Ms.Greer's ideas😆......to that extent, Shwetha's quote might work. BJ has challenged the intensely male dominated society and has created an indisputed leadership position for herself that few can challenge. Her needs are definitely clear and present, and I suspect that Panditji might be somehow involved in satisfying them periodically😉.........his comfortable proximity to her at all hours of the day and night seems to suggest it. He has been known to be in her bedroom late at night Could be one of Amma's peeves with BJ
Thanks Shwetha once again for an engaging post👏
