Will get back to you all....in the meantime do continue.
Another something to think about:
Would you do what Arpita did?...walk out of the mandap with the man of your dreams? whether or not your family is like the Rai.

I love my Father so much and he loves me more than I. So in the case of Arpita it is almost opposite.Snake has no respect for women and Arpita mostlikely hates her Dad for mistreating her and her mom. on the top what a disgusted man PAPPUA , his dad had choosen for him.
To be very frank, I loved with another guy before my marriage, we have some religious sects differences with each other, but we both loved each other. my mom knows all this , but i never tell to my dad. but as i told earlier, me and my parents have great bonding with each other as normal families of our culture do practice. so what my parents had choosen for me obviously not comparable with that papua. so i did go with my parents choice. and i am proud of my decision and more than happy with my life with my HD (Hubby Dear😳)

i hope you are getting my point. that , in the case of Arpita ,if the papua was not that ugly guy she may think about her father honor. if i was in the exactly same situation in which Arpita was i definitely do the same or at least want to do the same.

Dreamy nice topic.
I think that when you have grown up in a very stressful environment, as Arpi has, you latch onto something or someone outside of it, someone who is far removed from that situation. I think, as Arpi has said, that she liked the fact that the one person her father was afraid of was Avi. She started idolizing Avi, and it was only natural for a teenage girl to develop a crush on him, to fantasize about what life would be like for that person, a case of the grass always being greener on the other side. And obviously it was a great shock for Arpi when reality set in.
As for the "ji" part, I think it is cute. Growing up in the US, I never heard anyone use the term, but to this day my mom doesn't call my dad by his name, she will say "soonte ho".

firstly a nice and good topic.....................story of a criminal we have seen a lot but a love story of a criminal and that too when he has become criminal and with a girl who fantasizes him in indeed no reality...............but that's television for us..................based on real life gunda of UP Shriprakash Shukla, Avdhesh Singh Thakur, the character is the blend of both Chulbul Pandey of Dabangg and Robinhood of modern days....................but that doesnot mean he cannot have a love story.................but his love story should have been different................the protagonist fallen in love with a girl who is 18 years of old and comes from a descent and respectable family background..................it is somewhat impossible for the girl to fall in love with such goon and that too by reading the paper................this can be infatuation...................but the circumstances in which she was living, may be she can idolises Avdheshji as her messiah.................on the other part the person who doesnot even talk to girls and shy away from them fall in love with Arpita how?..................how can a goonda be so shy, so much that he cannot even keep an eyecontact with a girl whom he loves so dearly.....................but it is said that when love happens it just happens, same is the thing in this case.................two complete diffenet people from two different background come together and fall in love
