Awdesh woke up with the early sun…Finding himself wrapped up in the dupatta with Arpitha, he didn't want the moment to end…His placed a gentle kiss on his sleeping beauty's forehead…And smiled at her…Awdesh gently supported her back onto the tree and looked around…He stood on his feet and moved into the forest...

At the rai mansion…

Tring…tring…

Mahesh rai—"Hello…Mahesh rai speaking…"

RV—"Uncle…this is Rv…"

Mahesh rai (tensed)—"beta…did you find anything…"

RV—"I am trying uncle…but you don't worry…Arpitha will be safe…"

RV disconnects the phone…

RV (to himself)—"Arpitha…I am on my way…It's my promise to you my little sister…everyone who has hurted you or even tried to will be punished to death…"

Awdesh walks around the jungle trying to figure out some way out to reach the road…Suddenly he hears someone scream…

Arpitha—"Aaaaaaaaaaaa…aaaa"

Awdesh (worried)—"Arpitha……"

Awdesh runs back to their resting area with super speed…and watches Arpitha hiding behind the tree and she is shooing of something…

Awdesh (tensed)—"Arpitha…what is it…"

Arpitha runs and clings to him…She hides her face in his chest…Awdesh looks around and finds nothing…

Awdesh—"what happened Arpitha? Look here…Tell me…What happened…?"

Awdesh tries to console her and cups her chin in his hands…

Arpitha (stammers)—"f…f…f…frog…"

Awdesh smiles and looks down at a green frog staring at them from some distance…Awdesh not able to control himself starts laughing at her…Arpitha watches him and is irritated…

Arpitha leaves him and moves away…Awdesh understands that she is upset…

Awdesh—"Arpitha…Wait…I didn't mean it…"

Arpitha slows down and folds her hands looking at him…Awdesh reaches her and smiles…Arpitha doesn't change her fuming expression… Awdesh makes a funny face…Arpitha controls her smile…And folds her hands tight…she turns around and smiles…Awdesh walks past her and faces her again…Awdesh holds his ears…

Awdesh (silently)—"Sorry"

Arpitha smiles away and blushes at his act…She loved him so much…Being loved by him and taken care of was giving her greatest bliss…Arpitha looks back to him and is still holding his ears…Pulling his hands down…

Arpitha—"its o.k.….I woke up and the sudden sight of the frog had scared me…"

Awdesh looked around in search of something…Arpitha doesn't understand what he is looking for…

Arpitha—"what are you looking for awdesh ji..?"

Awdesh—"the frog"

Arpitha (stunned)—"What…?"

Awdesh (teasing)—"yes…that poor thing must also have been frightened to death at your scream…just want to tell him that it's o.k.….i pity that fellow…"

Arpitha opens up her mouth in surprise…what?? he is more concerned about the frog…Understanding that he is trying to pull her leg again…Arpitha looks around in haste and picks up a dry branch and runs behind awdesh while awdesh enjoys being chased…

Awdesh smilingly runs in delight…He never was such childish before…With Arpitha he forgot the world…Forgot that he is a gangster…He has pride and reputation to maintain…With her, he is just Awdesh…a young man in love…Still running he looks around his shoulders and doesn't find Arpitha…

Awdesh halts and worry creeps in…He hurries back and finds Arpitha bent and gasping for breath…holding her stomach…

Awdesh—"Arpitha…are you alright…"

Arpitha (breathing loud)—"ya…fine…my stomach is hurting…"

Awdesh—"Then how come you say you are fine…?"

Awdesh helps her stand straight and caress her check…

Arpitha—"Awdesh ji…I am so thirsty and I think it's this thing that I feel I see water at some distance…"

Awdesh turns around and finds a lake in real at some distance…

Awdesh—"There is really a lake there Arpitha…"

Arpitha and awdesh head towards the lake…Arpitha places a step forward but her tummy still hurts her…

Arpitha (holding her stomach)—"ishh……ahhh"

Awdesh (moving towards her)—"Arpitha…wait a second…"

Awdesh lifts her in his hands and walks towards the lake…Arpitha gets lost in his thoughts…She forgot all her pain…Arpitha considered herself the luckiest person on earth now…Reaching the lake, awdesh seats Arpitha on the bank and brings in a palm full of water and forwards it to Arpitha to drink…She gulps in the water and can actually feel the water flowing through her throat and reach her stomach…Her tummy rested for a while…but still grumbled…

Awdesh—"you o.k. now…you must be hungry…"

Arpitha (wiping the drops off her mouth)—"yup...I am fine…I feel better now…"

The frog comes jumping and stares at them again…Watching them busy with each other, he croaks to pull some attention…Awdesh and Arpitha notice the intruder and remember that they were actually on a silly fight…They laugh at each other…

Awdesh (smiling)—"Shall we have him for breakfast…"

Listening to him the frog gets scared and jumps into the water with a single dive…

Arpitha laughs out loud at the frog's sudden reaction…Awdesh smiles and watches her in delight…She smiles like a princesses…Nothing is worthier to him than her smile…

Arpitha watching him stare at her resumes her smile and moves her head questioning…what…

Awdesh nodes his head slowly in a no…meaning nothing…

Awdesh—"Shall we go…?"

Arpitha—"Yes"

Awdesh and Arpitha set off again in search of the road…The frog comes out of the water…seeing them leave he breaths in relief and crocks…

His crock alert's awdesh and he turns round his shoulders…catching him turn around, the frog hides back in the water…awdesh still looks trying to focus hard…Arpitha notices that awdesh is looking back and she also looks behind trying to figure out what is he looking at?….

To her delight, it's an old house of someone, on the banks of the lake…at quite a farer distance…Arpitha smiled and turned to awdesh…He was lost in some thought…

Arpitha (excited)—"Awdesh ji…We found a shelter…"

Awdesh (with moist eyes)—"hmm…yes…"

Arpitha doesn't notice him and is happier of finding a house…

Arpitha—"Let's go…"

Awdesh and Arpitha reach the house…It was an old house…Maybe some guest house…The dust spread all around told that no one lived there…The pots hung from the roof had all the wild plants growing in them…Spiders made their webs everywhere…the doors were locked…

Arpitha (tired)—"I guess we have to break open the door"

Awdesh smiles and goes near the door and runs his fingers on the top of the door…and brings out a rusted key…Arpitha stands looking at him in surprise…She looks deeper into his face…She identifies that something is wrong…

Arpitha—"you…know this house…do you?"

Awdesh nods his head…

Awdesh (with a heavy heart)—"With mom I used to come here every summer and spend my holidays…this is our house…after she passed away, I didn't come back…I never remembered this place…"

Arpitha sensed the pain in his voice…She came near him and hugged him trying to console him…Awdesh hugs her tight and suppresses his pain…Breaking the hug, awdesh smiles…he opens the lock…

Awdesh—"come…lets go in…"

Arpitha and awdesh go inside…except for the dust, spider webs, It was a beautiful house…Arpitha again felt her tummy paining…Awdesh noticed her discomfort…

Awdesh—"Arpitha…"

Arpitha felt her head heavy and fainted…Before she could reach the floor awdesh catches her and sits down on the floor with her…

Awdesh (worried)—"Arpitha…open your eyes Arpitha…Look at me…Arpitha…please…"

Arpitha opened her eyes slowly and saw the roof that was all dusty and she was lying on the bed that was not that comfortable…she looked around…it was all messy and filthy…Her eyes searched for him…

Arpitha (weak)—"Awdesh ji…"

Arpitha walked to the door…she still couldn't find him…Worried and weak, Arpitha managed to walk further and reach the main door…She still couldn't find him…a hand gently wrapped around her waist…Arpitha smiled…Who else could it be…

Awdesh came closer and whispered in her ears…

Awdesh—"Missing me…"

Arpitha smiles and frees herself from his hands…She faces him…

Arpitha—"where did you go…?"

Awdesh lifts his hand revealing some roots and wild mushrooms…

Awdesh—"you haven't eaten anything since yesterday…Let me make something for you…"

Arpitha (smiling)—"you cook also…"

Awdesh—"hmm…yes I must say…"

Arpitha (smiling at him)—"leave it to me…I'll do something…"

Awdesh (stubborn)—"NO"

Arpitha stood in a surprise…but the dust around made her allergic and she sneezed…Awdesh came near her and lifted her up…

Arpitha—"I am o.k.…. leave me…"

Awdesh—"ya…ya…just a minute…"

Awdesh carries her to the kitchen and lands her on the dining table…

Awdesh—"you sit here and watch…how I'll cook…"

Arpitha nodded with a smile…

Awdesh moved towards the stove…He actually had no idea of what to do…He remembered her mom preparing the mushroom soup for him in his childhood…He pulled out some vessel from the cupboard…and started doing the work as much as he remembered…Arpitha watched him do the work with her hand under her chin…Awdesh would turn now and then to look at her and her smiling face would energize him…

Completing the work…awdesh brought the soup direct from the fire and placed it before her…Arpitha laughed at his serving capabilities…

Awdesh—"what happened...don't tell me you are laughing at my cooking capabilities…"

Arpitha—"no…no…"

Awdesh handed her a spoon and gestured her to taste…Arpitha picked a spoonful and tried tasting it…she made faces and finally gulped in the liquid…

Awdesh (worried)—"isn't it good…"

Arpitha didn't answer…Awdesh pulled a spoon and tasted it…It was not that bad…In fact it was his first attempt and was very good…Still confused he looked at Arpitha…She dropped the spoon in her hand on the table and took the one in awdesh's hand…Awdesh still stood in a confused state…She gulped in a spoonful again and smiled…

Arpitha—"it's the best soup I have tasted ever…"

Awdesh happy with his success, smiled…Now he did understand her…Arpitha forwarded a spoon to him…

Arpitha—"Neither did you have something from yesterday…"

Awdesh swallowed the soup offered by her with enormous love for her in his eyes…

RV stared off in search of Arpitha and suspected her to be at awdesh's haweli…His sources proved him wrong and informed that he didn't reach haweli…Not knowing where Arpitha is, RV got frustrated and tensed…

RV—"where else could they go…"

Hawaldar—"sir there are only two ways…One leads to his haweli and the other to the nearby village with a forest in the middle…"

RV leaves immediately in the direction of the forest…After a long ride, he reaches the spot where awdesh's vehicle had stopped…RV gets down and examines the vehicle…He looks around and shouts in wrath…

RV—"Arpitha…You are not far from me…I am coming my dear…"
