Arpitha after having her evening shower, sat down on her bed, drying her hair, she thought of the evening…their happy moments…She laughed to herself at her childishness…and then their great fall…That little droplet of water from his hair…
Arpitha blushed holding the towel tight…She also remembered the way he stood back again and held her hand tight this time…escorted her to her room and left without looking back…
Arpitha thought back to all their meetings…
Arpitha (to herself)—"You have saved my life twice…Your presence makes me feel secured…I deviate myself from your thoughts, but am not able to hold long…I tell my brain not to think of you, meanwhile, my heart starts beating for you…I go telling my heart not to, my mind is back with your thoughts again…What is it you have done to me awdesh Ji…None of my senses are in my control…Is this some kind of attraction…or a simple crush…What is it…"
Arpitha pauses and thinks deeper…
Arpitha—"Or…….is this love……………"
Arpitha blushed at the very thought…She sat back on the bed folding her legs and decided to tell herself, what he is to her…but how………????
"Whenever I am confused, I close my eyes and whatever comes before my eyes, I choose it…That's my style…"
Arpitha—"Love you maddyyyy…"
Arpitha remembered the lines from rehna hai tere dill mai (don't tell me you didn't see it)
She slowly closed her eyes and took a deep breath…and tried to see through the dark…
Arpitha could see him…His smiling face…His concern and care for her…His charming look…It was him…Awdesh…
Arpitha opened her eyes…she smiled to herself…Clutching the pillow…Arpitha smiled again…
Arpitha—"yes…I love you awdeshji…"
Arpitha felt shy and closed her eyes in happiness…

At the rai mansion…
Mahesh rai dialed a number and waited for the other person to pick up the phone…
Mahesh rai—"Hello…Beta Ranvijay…It's me uncle Mahesh…"
Ranvijay—"Hello uncle…How is everyone…How is Arpitha…"
Mahesh rai—"Beta, I need to talk to you…"
Ranvijay—"Yes uncle, tell me…"
Mahesh rai—"No…not on the phone…Can you come home for a while…Please beta it's very important…It's about Arpitha…"

Arpitha got an idea…
It wasn't that late, but it was already pitch dark…off course it would be…It was winter…
Arpitha came out of her room and had a quick glance around…There was no one around…She walked towards the haweli…
Arpitha entered into the haweli…silence was everywhere as if no one actually lived there…she walked through the corridors and entered the first room…Arpitha looked around…The room was perfect…everything placed in its place…
Arpitha—"Nope…This can't be his room…Oh…Man!!! Boys…Their rooms are always messy…"
Arpitha knew her brother's room very well…Nodding her head in a no…She was about to leave, when her eyes caught the wardrobe…The door was opened revealing the clothes to her…
It was Awdesh's wardrobe…
Arpitha—"So…It's your room…Oh god…well…so…you're not like all others…very tidy…impressive…"
Arpitha moved towards the mirror and saw herself in the mirror…she looked down and found a broken piece of bangle on the table…
Arpitha's happiness knew no bounds…He preserved something…Something to which she is connected…It was the very same bangle…Maybe a piece of it, stuck him while he carried her…
Some footsteps alerted Arpitha…
Arpitha dropped the bangle piece in a hurry and tried to hide…
Arpitha—"Under the bed…no…it's very common…Inside the cupboard…"
She tried to hide there, but, she didn't fit in it…It had racks…
The sound of the footsteps could be heard louder as they approached…
Arpitha ran towards the door…
Arpitha—"God…I don't want to be caught…Please…He can interpret in a wrong way..."
An idea stuck again…
Arpitha—"Perfect"
She hid behind the door…
Arpitha—"He comes in; I will leave in a blink…Perfect…"
Awdesh came into his room…Talking on the phone…
Awdesh—"Pehalwan, take care of Bahuji till she is home…I want her home safe…"
Pehalwan—"Yes Bhaiyaji…We will leave for haweli tomorrow"
Awdesh—"o.k.…"
Awdesh threw his phone on the bed and tried to relax…He unbuttoned his brown shirt and threw it on the bed…and went near the mirror…
Arpitha watched him in his vests secretly from the gap of the door and forgot that she was actually planning to leave…
Arpitha admired him totally…He had great body…
Arpitha closed her eyes…Trying to control her thoughts
Arpitha—"What am I thinking…Hush…"
Arpitha opened her eyes again and found him standing before the mirror…He bent down to pick up something…
Arpitha bit her tongue…She dropped the bangle in a hurry…
Arpitha—"I will be caught any moment now…I must leave…"
Arpitha tried to move, but her dress got stuck in one of the nails of the door…Struggling silently to free herself she looked at him…he was setting his hair, watching himself in the mirror and humming some old tune...
Arpitha tried hard this time and somehow manged to pull her dress without tearing it...
She tip-toed and left the room...With a breath of relief, she dashed towards the main door...
Awdesh--"Arpitha...Wait..."
Arpitha cursed her fate...She turned around to face him...Awdesh walked towards her...
Before awdesh could ask her something Chulbul's voice was heard from outside...
Awdesh (whispers)--"Oh no...if he catches us together"
Arpitha--"Hm...i actually"
Awdesh--"come with me..."
Awdesh holds her hand and they walk into his room...
Chulbul (Entering the haweli)--"Bhaiyaji...Bhaiyaji"
Awdesh--"Under the bed…no…it's very common…Inside the cupboard…you won't fit there...Behind the door...Perfect..."
Arpitha was quite surprised and shocked...She made a similar analysis to hide a moment ago and now she is again in the same hiding place she choose...Arpitha was still carring a surprised expression...
Awdesh--"Stay silent..."
Chulbul enters
Chulbul--"Bhaiyaji...Bhaiyaji...where were you...I waited for you...i know you were upset and mad at me...but we spend our weekend at the park right...You know how insulting it was..."
Awdesh--"oh...actually..."
Chulbul (interrupting him)--"She laughed at me...I tried to start a conversation and she started yelling at me...that...that...I am a road side Romeo...gushhhhhhhh...these girls...I never understand them..."
Awdesh (smiling)--"Another Sheila........."
Arpitha started smiling from her hideout
Chulbul--"yaa.........something like that...Bhaiyaji...I am going now...I still have to take food for bhabi ji..." and exits
Arpitha's eyes widened up...Did she hear it right...
Awdesh--"You can come out now..."
Arpitha--"Why did you ask me to hide..."
Awdesh--"oh...He would tease me later...so"

Awdesh--"For...."
What would he answer...He wished he could tell her...But he knew the reality...he promised himself that he wouldn't reveal his feelings for her...He is a gangster and her life with him would be nothing but misery...
Arpitha--"awdesh ji..."
Awdesh (interrupting)--"What are you doing inside the haweli...Do you want something..."
Arpitha forgot her own story that she made up...She thought she would tell it, if someone asked her...But she forgot...
Arpitha--"i...i..."
Looking down to her wrist...
Arpitha--"yes...my hand was hurting..."
Awdesh--"come let's go to hospital..."
Arpitha--"no...its not that serious...it's o.k. now..."
Awdesh--"are you sure?"
Arpitha--"yes...i am pretty sure..."
Chulbul comes running from the kitchen, screaming -"rat...rat..."
Arpitha hides back...
Chulbul comes and closes the door from outside...
Awdesh--"Chulbul...open the door..."
Chulbul--"Bhaiyaji...no...its a rat...I have some past accounts to settle with this fellow...he was trying to enter into your room"
And bangs the vase at the poor rat...lukcy day for it...it escapes...
Chulbul--"This fellow had bitten my clothes into pieces...that dress that i thought would gift my Sheila...Wait you ratty...your end is in my hands..."
Awdesh--"Chulbul...Listen to me...Arey...Chulbul...Is anyone there..."
But it was too late...Chulbul chased the rat and there was no one around...
Awdesh turned back and tried to call him, but the network was damm weak...
Awdesh--"Chulbul...you idiot..."
Arpitha--"How would i go out now..."
Awdesh turned to her...
Awdesh(expressionless)--"Don't worry i will find out some way..."
Arpitha got a bit tensed...She liked him, but staying all alone with him in a locked door, gave her some strange feeling...she tried to ask herself, what was troubling her...she looked at him...He was fine...He was at the door trying to open it...
Arpitha--"What is it..."
Awdesh heard her and turned to face her...
Awdesh--"I am sorry..."
Arpitha--"but...why"
Awdesh--"Sorry for shouting at you...I actually didn't mean it...i was angry on chulbul...when you came, i took you to be chulbul..."
Arpitha--"its...o.k."
Awdesh sensed the discomfort she was going through...He never before was in such situation too...
Awdesh--"Arpitha ji...hmmm...Is everything fine..."
Arpitha--"yes...yaa...everything is fine..."
Arpitha walks towards the sofa and seats herself...Awdesh watches her...
Awdesh--"don't worry...You will be fine..."
Arpitha looks at him smiling...
Arpitha--"what else do you do other than selling bangles..."
Awdesh laughs at her...
She felt great relief...His worried expression equally worried her...Watching him smile, she got back into life again...
Bushhhhhh.......
Arpitha--"mummyyyyyyyy..."
Awdesh--"Arpitha it's o.k...its just a power cut...The transformer might have blasted...Its o.k..."
Awdesh moves forward to her and tries to comfort her, holding her hand...
Awdesh--"I am here...here with you...do not worry...nothing...it's just a power cut..."
Arpitha--"hmm...i am fine...that sudden...sound...terrorised me..."
Awdesh--"must be some transformer...its o.k....i am right here with you...o.k..."
Arpitha--"ya...o.k..."
Arpitha calms down...And is still holding his hand...
Awdesh--"i'll be right back...Arpitha donot worry...i am still here..."
He leaves her hand and tries to search for the candles...
Lighting the candle, he moves towards the sofa...But she is not there...
He tries to locate her with the little light of the candle...
He turns around and there she is...Leaning to the wall. looking out through the window...
Awdesh was dumfounded...He thanked god for such perfect timming...the moon was in his full form shining with all his glow...his light penetrated through the window and reached his room...In that light, he could see her face crystal clear...Her charming and mesmorising face...
He (still holding the candle) stood opposite to her at some distane and watched her to his heart...
Arpitha noticed it...She loved the moon on such days...She looked back to the moon...
Arpitha smiled at the moon...expecting to greet him...But the smile had actually made someone else crazy...
Awdesh moved a step forward and observed her in the candle light...
Arpitha looked at him...and back to the moon again...
Awdesh was in a complete trance...He was lost in her...His heart and mind were so much preoccupied that even the melting wax falling on his thumb, didn't hurt him...
Arpitha--"I LOVE YOU"
I know its quite difficult to come out from awi's dream land.....😆😃
