Nandini, what I meant was instead of inserting Bhauji as the third person in their relationship, who also happens to be an authority figure so we have some saas-bahu scenes, the writers should have just played with Avita marriage.

Arpi and Avi fell in love but knew nothing about each other, at all. Already there is enough conflicts there....after marriage, Avi will be getting on with his gundagiri and Arpi wouldn't like it...we had hints b4 marraige that she blinded herself to his gundagiri and doesn't like it when it's 'on her face'.....so it would be natural, when seeing her husband beating and doing violent things, to get upset and worried, concerned about the future...this will be their main conflict...her worrying, Avi getting upset and etc..

But I understand why bhauji is in there and in that role, the conflict cannot be solely between them two, they need an external conflict as well......but the indian tv is saturated with saas-bahu so I'm hoping they keep it fresh....
