I think its bhaoji's dream. First of all she is too cunning and smart to reveal her true colors infront of Avi and secondly its too early . She will try other things to keep avita separated. This dream sequence could be for viewers to know Bhaoji's intetion , Avi will come to know much later. Its to build the pressure and keep viewers on the edge.
