Oh what a magic web you weave
when the brown of your eyes
reaches out deep inside my perception
and leads me into a journey
into the depths of your soul......
a glance, a swirl, a punch, a swagger
a shy smile, a loving gaze,
tears that well up beckon again
to gaze at the myriad hues on your countenance
the fire that burns in the depths of that brown
the rain that drenches from deep within
the desert storm that arises in those eyes
and engulfs me, a dream you spun
and glitters like the thousand pearls
in those unknown depths
which mesmerize and beckon and drown
the gurgling brook , simple and joyous
that springs up from that quiet gaze
suddenly to be masked in the shy
yet gentle ocean of colours in your eyes
oh magician, you wave your magic wand
and lead me by hand into a world
where colours merge, songs entwine
where emotions rise to wash gently
the quiet sands of my consciousness
spellbound you hold me entranced
you look, you dream, i dream , i wonder
where the pied piper leads us
with his magic pipe still ringing in our ears
long after the music has stopped
and the lights have dimmed
the elation persists, dancing....
swirling , twirling in our mind's eyes
where you quietly creep in
and play your flute for me
in a melody that i know...
that sings in your eyes..
you, of the magic wand...
weave your magic once more
over my heart, my dreams , my mind's eye...
lest i awake before it is time...
every night i hear the music
and daylight brings the daze
but the light in my eyes that you have touched me with
sparkle as a reflection in your brown eyes....
