Mein aa gai😛
and super duper late...but as usual me slept on while the images were uploading...and there were SO many..
After all the first Maha Episode of Gulaal...
Kya power packed epi tha na...

So many things happened and everyone excelled...
And As MB said in the end...the epi saw long friendship turning into enemity between Jamnadas and Revji and ofcourse the Durgesh factor which was the key factor in the later KG union
and a long enemity turning into an everlasting relationship between MB and Revji...

So here we go..as comes in the Dulhe raja!

And I swear Vasant looking like this at Duggu reminds me of Kesar trying to find Durgesh amongst the bunch of Kinnars..both are sooo concentrated on staring at them that they dont realize it is very impolite😆
and the way he speaks aloud..'Ho nahi sakta'..I thought he might just break into that song of Ajay Devgan😆

And Dushty all ready to pounce the opportunity to as his bro...Kya hua Vasant!

Oh And Do I need to say that I love MB...his son jolts him up in middle of the get together of big heads and he is like 'Now?' ...'Ok'...no what why when and how etc

I actually found this very significant...though could not get a proper cap...but Jhankhana brought him within the crowd like he was some new bride...I found that weird also..May be she did for showing off ..you know the bro sis bond...or because subconciously they always have treated Durgesh like this...

See again...Jhankhana holding his arms while Jamnadas aka Chaitu ka Chapdu brags some more about his 'BETA'

And this s what I like, the actors imbibe themselves into the character so much...Look at Durgesh doing namaskar to Poonamba...respecting a mother...'Ma'

Another thing is Jamnadas telling the family how Durgesh was not ready to marry, until he heard of Gulaal's nemat!
Somehow thinking that he and Gulaal 'connected' on some level..
Both had the 'blessings' of 'Ma' in one way or other...

and in here Vasant telling MB the great secret!

Oh you mean I still have a chance😛

Oh I just love the way he puts his dupatta across...it has such a flair and a devil may care attitude...such Casanova action is that!

and I tell you...Gulaal never looked more tempting than in this scene! As I said on the EDt also she looked like Aishwarya in HDCCS in similar pose...but, she just look at her!!!!
She looks damn attractive!!

and the camel comes in to warn her about her 'un-Raymonds man' as Anjumanju calls Duggu😆

Oye behri...Woh Jamnadas ka Beta nahi Betu hai😛

Aur tu kaunsa certificate holder hai in the 'betA department'😡... your father has more romantic hair on his head than romantic bones in your lanky body🤢

haha Jokes apart!! He shows her Duggu sitting in the living room..

Oh I actually laughed aloud at this scene..Poonamba barging in and scolding Vasant 'What are you doing here?'...Poor guy ...no izzat at all..Ma beti both bash him left and right!

Pooba not ready to believe as she thinks both of them are saying this to evade the marriage...and tries to drag Vasant out of the room when Gulaal announces, she wants to meet Durgesh alone!
Haye she is one brave woman..direct hi bol diya...

But Pooba drags her down...and Duggu! get ready for another shocker!😆

Look at his smile disappearing!

Jhankhana performing the rituals of putting the chunar...I liked how she did it..though while doing Arti she did look a bit weird..dont know ...was it jealousy...a mild jealousy of seeing a beautiful bhabhi ..or was she portraying Duggu's sis to a T?

Aaj tu mere haathon se bach ke dikha Durgesh!

Mummy...!!Mujhe woh chunar chahiye!!

And Jamnadas bragging how the chunar is sewn in gold threads...ah the man and his ego🤢

And he asks Gulaal to ask for anything..as he is worth 10 Revjis..that was so damn insulting..I dont know how Revji took all this😕...but ofcourse Gulaal maroes hathoda and says she wants to meet 'inse' aka Durgesh all alone😛
hahaha just look at everyone's face now!

you are outdate..Look at me modern...

And I love this one...Mb just putting his head on Revji's shoulder and Revji understand he wants to talk to him...

So Gulaal barges in her room...and I am putting this cap for just showing who beatiful she looked in this dress...

And the way she throws the chunar and shaking it off her body as if it was some rash she wanted to get rid of it before it spread!! utterly disgusted with it!

And I wondered how did Durgesh come in this mode, and then realized it was her dream...

Looks so damn pretty!

And the way he asks her ..'tumhein koi taqleef hai?'

and she closes her eyes in disgust and then opens to find the day time Durgesh😆

And I wondered where had he been while she dreamt away...he had just tagged behind her na..but he took so long to reach the room😕

And it is such a subtle and automatic gesture as he picks the chunar lying on the floor..almost his feminine instincts taking over...

And look at her..if she had been a female vampire ..Durgesh would have had marks of bite on his neck by now😛

I absolutely loved how his face lights up as she does the tikka!!

And she tries to touch his feet and he thinks that she is doing it as a 'wifey ritual'...he is so happy na?? as happy as a little boy who would be ecstatic playing 'ghar ghar' with his friend, as she would make a make believe tea in those small utencils and put it before him to drink as he gets ready to go to his make believe office!

And she pops the dream baloon and tells him that she is touching the feet of the devotee oof Ma whom she saw in that mandir!

And just look at his ..he is in his own dreamland ..how he will treat her like the queen, how he will take care of her, comb her hair, and make undhiyoon for her ..(Where is Kesar right now...perrrfect match hai tere liye...he knows how to make the perfect undhiyoon and he will feed you with his own hands too!) how he will make her everyday a happy day!! and Boy isn't Gulaal DIRECT!! she asked what about 'nights!'

Look at his reflection, in the mirror!

The poor man is shocked ..What WILL he do in the night!

Oh..the directness of this question...and his inadequacy to find an answer makes him take the renege under the cloak that protects him, gives him the reason to be what he likes to be..his cloak of happiness,,which gives him the security against the weird world who would never understand him...

And then he tries to make her understand her ..how he would keep her a princess..and I love how Gulaal answers...a woman doesnot want a devotee who would worship her, she wants to be the devotee of the man she marries...My my!! she has had some awesome dialogues!!

And his expression that she wants to be a complete woman, and a complete woman is the one who can be a 'mother'.

And the way he says 'Tu Ma hai!'

And the way she asks him how will they have relation between a half man and a woman!!

Oh that bites him na...The way he walks a bit away and then turns and asks her...'Hum Insaan nahi hotey!'
Owww...that one thing so breaks your heart!!

And Gulaal...boy she is relentless today..she doesnot break down even with tears streaming down her face as she answers him 'Pati nahi hotey!'

Oh and he is now complaining to the God, in whom he believes so much...What can I do if HE made me this way!!!😭

How am I to be faulted??

And Gulaal has always been a woman with all the answers na ..She tells him that you want me to suffer along with you THAT is your fault!

and he is soo shattered at this..thinking how could he subject someone to what he has been going through all his life!!
and he asks her what if she would have known this after marriage and she retorts..that was the plan, isn't it...and he is truly ashamed!!

oh and then he breaks down...how he thought that he always has been the subject of ridicule and ashamed of that avatar of his, but she, who had 'Ma's nemat' would understand him!!

Gulaal had stood so mercilessly till now na..she is one hard woman when she thinks she is doing the right thing, we all know how she can be totally a wall ...and you can see the traits right now...till Durgesh just breaks down1!

Accha...I know you guys will clobber me to death for this comparision but this kind of gave me a vision of Kesar trying to break through her and stop her from leaving...

She does have a flair of bringing men (and not so manly man) on their knees na?

So finally she breaks...ironically she didnot break when she saw Kesar in the same begging mode...probably she was so used to it by then😆

And how he says ..that if she tells the truth then he will have no one to love him

how he will be all alone in the world!

and there comes REvjito share the news with Poonamba who knows it herself, and irony isnt it? Revji says that MB must be speaking truth..and Poonam saying that I dont know about THAT but My Gulaal will not lie!

And he comes out to question Jamnadas who is again in his ridiculing mood and so when Revji starts by saying that 'Mein beti ka baap hoon!' Jamnadas cracks up a laugh that 'he has no objection to that!' and I was like hello!! you need to have an objection on you being a father of a beta who is quite not a beta or a beti but probably a betu or something bhalta bhulta!!

And Revji asking whether Durgesh worships 'Bahuchar ma' and jamnadas saying that yes..what difference does it make?

Aha!!
and so he speaks! It does make a difference if your son is worshipping 'Ma' in a woman's attire!

Dushyant might not have intended it right now but he did build the base for Vasant's death na...had he not announced this way, probably Jamnadas would not have had a heart attack and Durgesh would not have sworned revenge!!

The character was loathsome but hats off to the actor!
the way he makes us loathe him and happy that he had this curse on him!!

And in here ..Gulaal is trying to smooth things up...
telling him to go out and tell everybody that he doesnot want to marry her because he doesnot trust her character!

Oh I just loved his expression and the way he almost shapes her face in his hands stretched in air and says that 'Mein aisa nahi kar sakta Gulaal!'

This gesture is SO damn good..it is as if he is almost worshipping her, as if she IS his MA...so dear to him ...blessing him but so out of reach!

And here comes the call which will end this devotee-deity relationship forever!!

Time for Duggu show down...
It really took an ugly turn na...
Gulaal is so conscious of this.she so wanted to avoid this...
and wonders O wonders! It is Vasant who actually takes the hard stance...probably if he and Gulaal had had a chance to talk this whole situation would have been avoided...but I think Bahuchar maa was angry on Durgesh for trying to cheat her own special 'nemat' wali child..he had to come out and Jamnadas had to know this and think of the wrongs he did in the past...

by the way did you see how Dushyant maro in dialogue...when Jamnadas forces Revji to get Durgesh and Gulaal married, saying that Revji is not alone..and the whole Talsagra is with him now!!

Vasant butting in and tries to solve this whole problem by bringing out the truth!

And she knows it is gonna be difficult!

Swear upon her!

And she is sooo caught between this!

I loved the murat!!

And I loved Durgesh in this...the look he gives to the photo as Vasant tells him not to lie before his 'Ma'...oh!! His utter devotion and helplessness..and the way he hugs the photograph...What to say ..it breaks you and makes you cry along with him!

The way he takes the photo almost in a trance...as if MA is calling him, beckoning him, he cannot ignore that call!

Oh the way he looks at his MA!!

Oh she knows how helpless he is feeling and cant do anything about it!

And he knows the truth..I guess he always had known..his pride and ego wont just let that 'Kinnar' win and let him acknowledge he had produced this son!

And look at Jhankhana
looking his bro up and down totally disgusted!

And he is sch a good guy...he feels sorry for him now!

And look at him..looking at her father from behind the frame!!

As if saying sorry!

And the way he shakes his head as if saying he cannot leave his MA..cannot swear falsely upon her!

And he is done for!

And he walks out!!

Achha this shot is specially for My Chudail!!

He deos have a cute smile as he asks whether the marriage is fixed and congratulates him on that!

And I hate such people like Jamnadas..who malign a girl's character to hide their inadequacy!

MY DOP does love the use of mirrors na..and he uses it sooo aptly!!

And I thought that how come the whole of village knows about the news so quickly..but apparently it is Jamnadas' imagination , thinking about what will happen to him when the truth will come out!

and he sees HIM..as if taunting him!

and he is gone...heartattack!

Oh I just love MB watching him..reminded me of him watching Kesar when he was writing that last letter to Gulaal before going back to the city!

And Revji getting news about the worse condition of Jamna!

MB consoling Revji..and I love how he says that if a friendship of so many years can turn into enemity in one day..then cant an age old enemity turn into a relationship!

And the guy behind the bars...(so apt for him na..one day he is gonna reach that place anyways!) is all hopeful..

All shy why!

Aye haye!! Anju dekh tera Dushty has turned into Duggu today!😛

And here comes the camel...to eavesdrop!

And he is looking like 'what are you talking MB'!...arrey gadhey ..tera murder planning ho raha hai!

And REvji looks at her family who is so obviously happy as Poonam speaks up 'Say yes!'

And he is soo shattered!

And I think more than this, Gulaal's obvious smile at the whole thing got to him!

And he knows he has lost it!

Finally he realizes it!

but really the way Sushant climbs the hill, as if trying to hold on to it by sheer desperation in his every claw climb...amazing!!!

Aha! the DDLJ hug!!

And as I said before...The CVs love to have the shot of Gulaal running!

Oh it is so rare you can see the depth and intensity inside him lurking out...but he does have that behind his frank and open face!
