The next morning, nobody came to kesar's room to wake him up. He laid there lazily on his bed, thinking that the door had not been knocked so its not 7 am yet but then after sometime when he looked at the clock, it was 8.30 am. His eyes widened with surprise n he jumped out of the bed. The events of yesterday n gulaal's words, all flashed before his eyes, he felt a bit restless.
MB looked at him angrily and said: "Kyun kesar kahan tha tu kal !!"
MB looked angrily at paan ba which was a sign for her to keep quiet. She didnt say a word.
K: "Wo mota bha, mujhe kuch kaam tha is liye mujhe dair ho gayi"
Kesar was feeling really sad now but he knew that where he went yesterday was more important than anything else n then he became so upset that he went to the beach where he n vasant bha used to go together n he spend his whole time there, crying n remembering his brother.
PB: "Acha ab dono bas karo, aur sudha, yeh gulaal kahan reh gayi hai, ja usay bula k laa, subah se nazar hi nahi aayi"
Sudha went to call gulaal but came running after a few minutes:
MB, PB, Rewa, Raman stood up in shock. They asked:
They all ran towards her room, followed by the kids as well. Raman stayed there at the dining table. Kesar lowered his head as he was feeling really embarrassed. He quietly stood up from the table n moved towards gulaal's room, he stood at the door of her room n looked inside. All were getting really worried for her n sudha was now calling the doctor. Kesar's head fell more in embarrassment n he quietly left the house for office, even without eating the breakfast.

At the office also, he was not able to concentrate on his work, gulaal's face n her words kept flashing before him, he closed his eyes...
"Kya hogaya hai tujhe kesar, kyun itna ghusa hai tu"
"Aisa lagta hai k mera aas paas rehna tujhe pasand nahin"
"Tujhe mujhe aur bardaasht nahi karna hoga kesar, main jald hi yahan se chali jaoon gi"
"Nahiii !!" exclaimed kesar n immediately opened his eyes. But the very next second he got so surprised at his reaction,
"Sir? Kya baat hai? R u alright?"
"Sir I have come here to remind u that Mr. Verma must be waiting at the restaurant for us, v have a meeting with them"

At the restaurant, after the meeting when they vr just about to leave, kesar heard two people talking who vr sitting just near to his table.
Girl: "Uffo tum bhi na, bilkul khayal nahi rakhtay apna, dakho khana bhi theek se nahi khaya"
Kesar became so restless, after coming back to office he was again not able to concentrate on his work.
"Mujh se ghalti hui kesar k maine socha main teri dost ban sakti hun"
Kesar closed his laptop, n banged the file on the table. Gulaal was doing as she had said, she was not interfering in his life now, the whole day had gone n gulaal didn even call him once to ask whether he had his lunch or not or whether he is ok or not. Kesar terribly felt that something was missing.

Later on, at night, when he came back home, his eyes continuously searched for her but she was no where. He was worried now as she was not well n he was not able to find enough courage in himself to ask the others about her. Finally he asked rohan about gulaal. He told him that she had been in her room for the whole day, doctor had come n gave her injection n medicines n said that she got the fever as something was bothering her mind, n he had also dressed her wound properly n had said that she vl be fine soon. Kesar became a little relieved when he heard that she vl be fine soon.

The whole next day also passed like this, gulaal didn't come in front of him. Moreover, he had not even heard her voice. 2 more days passed like this n with every passing day, kesar became more restless. He was getting really frustrated now n his anger was not hidden from the family member's as well.
Rewa: "Ji paan ba, sahi kaha aap ne, pata nahi kya baat ander hi ander kha rahi hai ise, pucho toh ulta ghusa karne lagta hai, aakhir hamen kesay pata chalega k hua kya"
Rewa: "Haan paan ba mujhe bhi ajeeb lag raha hai, wahan gulaal ki tabyat kharab hogayi, yahan yeh ghusay men rehta hai, baat bhi nahi ho rahi in ki, pata nahi kya hua"
Kesar's frustration increased more. He had not seen her for 4 days now. He knew very well that she was angry with him. He was also surprised to find a sudden change in his attitude but he really really wanted to apologize to her. He was badly missing her.

Kesar returned from the office, n entered from the main gate n when he saw in front, it was like his wish was granted. Gulaal was sitting in the lawn n watching rohan n varun play with their football. It had been one week now, n kesar was seeing her after 7 long days. At that very moment, rohan hit the football very hard n it went flying in the direction where kesar was standing n hit his head.
"Oh mera ser" Kesar hold his head n sat there on his knees. The football had hit him badly, the whole world was going round in front of him.
G: "Kesar tu theek toh hai na? bohot zyada lagi kya? Yeh rohan bhi na... dekh tu..." N with that she looked at him, he was already looking at her, their eyes met n she felt a little bit uneasy. She quickly withdrew her hands from his shoulder n forehead, stood up n turned to go. Kesar also got up quickly.
"I m sorry kesar, maine tujhse kaha that ere saamnay nahi aoon gi but seriously mujhe nahi pata tha k tu is waqt ajayega warna main kabhi tere saamne na aati"
Kesar felt very sad n went inside the house too. Rohan n varun had already run inside as they had become afraid that they hit their kesar chachu.
Kesar was able to see that gulaal does what she says. She was exactly doing what she had said. The whole evening passed n night arrived but she didn't come in front of him.
Rewa "Nahi mota bha, who nahi arahen, main ne bohot kaha unhen"
PB: "Kesar, tere aur gulaal k beech koi jhagra hua kya? Main dekh rahi hoon tum dono aik doosray se baat nahi kartay"
Everybody turned around to see gulaal was standing at the entrance of tv lounge.
Kesar was so surprised that he just managed to say: "Haann..."

The next day kesar came home early but with a box of sweets. From the past few days he had been working hard to get a new contract n today he had got it. He wanted to share his happiness with everyone.
The night had fallen when he came downstairs from his room n heard gulaal's voice from the tv lounge. He quickly moved towards that room.
