Wake up India. We are on a border line with our culture. And those pathetic dramas will be resposible for that.

Dear all please read with patience. I am not a very good writter, but I think it is time to speak out by every single TV viewers. If you say it is a personal clash with Diaa baati, I will say no. My voice is loud today for every single pathetic sus/bahu drama on every single TV channels..

We want to be entertained and we want to see positive in this world.
Sus/Bahu drama bahut bhaari pade gaa hamari desh(subcontinent) ki upaar...

Are our parents so bad???????? Why our mothers are portrayed soo badly in Indian drama serials? These dramas making all daughter-in-laws paranoid and all girls are afraid of their mother-in-laws.

Today I watched a bit of Diaa Baati. It is not a personal clash with Diaa baati, but what a pathetic story line!! A son take a small pendent for his future wife, for that his mother was extremely rude than any other sus on any TV serial, can be!!... For this pathetic story Star plus axe Gulaal????????? Gulaal also had gone through misunderstanding but it was not related to insecurity between sas bahu. She had got a place of daughter in her in-laws' house always.

I am not writing this article for Gulaal campaign, I am trying to emphasis here a real social problem is slow poisoning our society. These dramas are destroying nice relation between women inside family. If these TV channels want to teach us about culture then they should show us nice positive things about our culture and relation. Specially between those sensitive important relations.

Star Plus and other TV channels should know, men already started to get married from different countries. We Indian women will soon start to get married to non Indian men.

I am quite afraid to get married to Indian man. Is India sooo Horrible? I mainly stay in London and I am an independent women. Currently I am in India. But the culture these dramas are portraying to the wolrd is making us quite afraid. Indian culture does not look very promising at all.

--If you see those drama, looks like India 24/7 just does puja path .Is it true?Nothing wrong with that.

--But all horrible people on earths live inside this country. Is it true? All sus, all sister-in-laws are horrible. Does these drama represent real INDIA?????

I have this question to all TV channels.

If administration of this forum, go through my thread , then please forward it to star plus and all other TV channels, which are showing our mothers are horrible!!

This is how they are making our mother figures' life in danger in old age.

I never saw any women, that pathetic as star plus mother-in-laws are portrayed. Do any one of you have seen those sus????

But still star plus made me mentally paranoid about Mother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

30/40 years ago those type of Mother-in-laws were exist in some backward areas of India.This is what my mother told me. But i am quite scared.

I had better impression about India and these dramas gave such an poor impression that, I don't dare to marry an Indian man.

We should start raising our voice agaist pathetic sus/bahu serials. It is a slow poison for our culture and for our married life.
If you want to be positive in your life, you have to feel and learn positive.😊

india has serious other challenges to meet immediately like poverty,corruption,black money,aids etc... who thinks of idiot soaps when avg man's life is hell with out meeting basic needs also.when each person in india basic needs are provided then india will be developed country .

The Intension of this post is not for Gulaal come back but from this Gulaal forum I am starting my revolution against sus/bahu serials.

I will post every where possible to improve social awareness about this issue. I am quite serious yaar.😭

trust me. I will not marry any Indian man. I am afraid of their family. I am a big heart/harmless women so I will never try to separate my husband from his family. So why not I marry from different culture. So, I will not have any horrible mother-in-law / sister-in-law. Indian drama should show something positve about Indian family life. Trust, love, co-oparation, unity etc. Just romance between two lead character is not about life.

We were quite angry why Gulaal did not show much romance between Gulaal and Kesar.

Gulaal was all about those 4 issues Trust, love, co-oparation, unity. Just romance is not everything. After ending the drama I can realize more about its' uniqueness.

I understand your point. But

Developed countries are not free of those crisis you mentioned above. In developed countries people even do not have time to watch dramas. These Idiot dramas only can have impact on an under developed country.

In India, in every family you will not find proper food or good house but they have TV and their culture is highly influenced by drama serials. What they watch in the Television, has seriaous impact on their psychology. I did little research on that.

How many hours each women spend on television. I came back home 10 years later and I can see clear difference and impact of Indian drama in every house.

Entertainment world has big impact on our mind and society, when the people do not have enough to do. They just watch television.

The people who are out of basic needs , they are effected by those dramas more. Specially those women who stay at home.

It is very SAD but still those idiot soaps occupying the mind of half of the population (mainly women) in India. So dramas should shows positive things.

And these dramas are injecting negetivity in our society. Of course those dramas are representing India to whole world.😊 The people who born and brougth up abroad or staying abroad for long time, they do trust India is like those drama serials. So Drama makers should be carefull about it.They are representing India in general to rest of the world.

with empty stomach no one can think of culture n god.so economic strength is imp.
it depends on citizens to make their country how it has to be.even in developed countries crisis exists n also influenced by tv n net n other entertaining things no country is free frm the crisis. but in developed countries avg pop meets basic needs but in developing country india
avg pop doesn't meet basic needs also.wat is wrong or wat is right who can judge but fact is rich becomes richer poor becomes poorer.developed countries exploit under developed countries. wat is the limit of moral policing. not only indian dramas western dramas represent their culture n gives misconception abt western culture to the world. entertainment is very commercial nowadays.ya one has to be keep some limit to it.
it depends on individual discretion wat is right n wrong n wat ot take wat not to take.
entertainment is just entertainment thats it.

Entertainment is only entertainment, for the creative people and for intelligent people. But majority of the people in our society is less creating and beleive in what they watch on the TV.

I am not writing here about Indian economy or how to reduce poverty, it is an issue of Indian drama serials and the story lines and why they should be improved . 😊😊😊😊😊

Sas bahu negetive dramas has serious impact on the society and from any angle they are not entertainment at all.

No dear, it should be wake up India. because it is a big issue now. It is a micro scale slow poisoning and it is effecting our society😊 I think you are misunderstanding me😊 I am a dedicated gulaal forum member. I am not writing here for any extra attention. I am writing from my heart . You are just diverting my attention to some other issues. I hope I did not hurt you some how .

Kiran,Arti, srushti all have interacted with my post. I am a regular Gulaal forum user.This post is an general issue and soon I will send it to TV channels.😊

u misunderstood me buddy i am not distracting u r talking abt general issue on women rights 😊 i appreciate it n support it i understood ur point so me too talking on general issues that are more serious than this thats it no personal thing here just healthy debate 😊. every one can express their pov know.
