Late latif is haazir - hola Srushee and Geeshu 🤗
I'll begin with the fall - was it me, or did this scene qualify for one of the rare OTT scenes in this show?! I was just a little 'raised eyed' over the idea of that giant wheel coming undone and especially of Gullu's grand aerial fall - like without obstruction from the moving, or even suddenly at standstill ride! If this was another show, I'd probably be much more in disdain, but Gulaal ko ye 'paap' maaf hai 😆
Other than that - another great episode. Well paced, DOP showing his usual brilliance, and so much intrigue and build up in the story as such. In the span of a single episode we find Vasant's person in dilemma over finding Kanchan's 'death spot', the village rivalry and of course, being faced with his inevitable moments of being drawn to Gulaal. If he wasn't such a 'focused man' - far more of his personal turmoil could be on account of being attracted to dushman gaon ki ladki - but of course, uska ka bhi waqt ayega! The GV scene in the temple was far better done. Gulaal in her element of these early days is infectious to watch 😆
My favorite scenes have to be A) the scene with guruji, because there was so much foreboding in the space of that interaction and B) the GV scene where he calls her Kesar at her prank! The script has been so subtly but consistently insinuating of GK, that Vasant, who is the center male lead at this point for the viewers, is comparing 'this prospective girl in his life' even if he's not viewing her like that, with his 'yet a child' younger brother. Drawing comparisons and declaring they are so alike! Yes Vasant, we hear you! ek hi thaali ke chatte batte hain ye dono, humse pucho! 😆
Btw - something about the way Gulaal is with Vasant, reminds me unexceptionally of the way Kesar tends to be with Gulaal. In the phase when Kesar was still enacted by Ali, and then again in the phase when GK had come to be at 'genuinely good terms' again... No wonder they hit off so well even when the whole GK love story was no where in obvious sight!
Anyway - looking forward to Vasant asking Gulel about Paani Wali Bai Nijadi ka ata pata 😆 I can't imagine her giving him a straight answer. For obvious reasons. Sharafat to bech rakhi hai 😆
Srushti - I love the 'curious cat' CAP - its so cute! 😆 Again, this Gulel version of Gulaal really makes me think of Kesar's Kesuda version 😆
Geeshu - you know my preference between those two catch and fall scenes, don't you?! ☺️
