May I say..we ususally say a wife sometimes has to care for her husband like a mom do..does that mean the relationship become motherly..it is just an analogy to show selfless and caring attitude

you have a point. cvs maintained with out labeling it so that they can end on it on anything.intelligent work by cvs for opening many strings n specualtions abt gk.according to kesar he is grown up as gulaal his wife.where as gulaal didn't consider the dv realtion at all.just destiny made them in to a realtionship tats shown by cvs.
destiny sometimes smoothly handles us n sometimes roughly handles us dhoondhlegi manzil humein but everything is destined.

I think the ending MP wanted would'nt have done the show justice as they showed from kesar's return boarding his love for gulaal so leaving it like that would have been leaving it unfinished if it had continued then the show could progress on this line showing gulaal realising her love gradually and MP said in a previous article the show was always about the DV and therefore her and kesars relation and this eding gave it justice

Exactly my thoughts , Shrushti ! I am glad you quoted the shloka ...every wife is affectionate and caring and motherly to her husband when that is needed - and she is so ,many other things also - and the co-existing of all shades makes the relationship complete - like the complete relationship of Kesar and Gulaal... So what Mansi said - was truth , but incomplete truth - it was an "ardhasatya"
