VJ , I truly agree with you word by word. Neil and Manasi actors are so rare to find and create another magic in the confession scene which was so simple and subtle but did great impact on them and on us. Me too reliving those moments in my heart again and again. This scene takes away all anger we felt on previous episodes.

But I also loved the magic created by Manasi and Ali Haji. The child actor was brilliant and can not forget him so easily.

Whole the casts and crews of Gulaal team did the great job and left imprint in our heart that will remain forever. Show was benchmark to all other shows but just unhappy that they closed KG love and romance chapter at rush at end of the show while giving undue importance to side characters giving us very hardtimes. I was expecting the proper marriage and Griha prabesh of Gulaal as Kesar's wife into the house which was not delivered by CV while they shown this event for side actor Kulli despite KG love being the main theme of the show. These are only my few complaints against the team but will miss this show so dearly and you guys too until I have find some show rare as a Gulaal.

The confession scene made up for the other part of the episode. It was too good. The voice modulation by both the actors... what to say...Gulal saying 'Jana zaruri hai kya' almost breaking...and Kesar saying too seeda jawab kahah deti hai..' what acting and voice modulation...will miss them big time... oh have to resort to you tube to see them in future

ha ha, good one "no emotional atyachar" ! GK have so many true emotions that they never need any atyachar for that ! Lovely and natural ...as always...

Word VJ! They have truly lived their roles. Its like they were never anyone but the characters they portrayed - and while Mansi has had her challenges in showing chemistry with not one but two leads in such genuine strains of the heart, Neil has had his greatest hurdle in merging with the character seamlessly from where Ali left behind, and add his own layers to it, of becoming a grown up version of complex Kesar!

On that note, I want to add Ali to the list. As someone who caught up with the show at the peak of Mansi and Neil moments, and caught up 'verbally' on the story background, the joy I have found in revisiting old scenes of Mansi and Ali - is almost a marvel to me sometimes! This show has completely transformed and redefined the term 'onscreen chemistry' - setting such a high new standard for it - one can't but doubt if it really is possible to recreate something so brilliant!

Wont miss Dushyant - because his character comes right after GK for me - as one that my heart went out to so entirely. Sushant Singh establishes his forte as an actor - whatever the screen or challenge!

Again - thanks to the team of Gulaal for giving us this genius entertainer - which went on to become much more than just another show for us =)

How finely you understand it and how rightly you word it - indeed while Mansi was brilliant no doubt , Neil did this additional amazing thing of understanding Kesar"s character to the chore and taking over from another actor - a kid at that - and managing to "look" like him (Ali) in so many scenes later -character toh always and kabhi kahbi to shakal bhi ekdum waisi banna leta thaa ! Amazing ! And you are bang on in adding Ali , actually I never saw much in his phase except few random episodes which , in hindsight, were quite significant ...like I remember him complaining to Gulaal sometime after diyarvattu , something to the effect - tu mujhe aise mat treat kar , kissi ki bhi patni aise mahin karti hai ...indicating how early on he had actually taken Gulaal as a "wife" whole-heartedly ...just the meaning of that word got deeper and deeper with time ...not his sincereity to the relationship ...that was always there from day one !
Sushant, ofcourse, I kind of took him for granted as a veteran veteran actor who"s proved himself yet again... and as you can see, I am so smitten by Kesar that I can barely see anything else ..the fatrthest my "Kesar- full " eyes go is upto Gulaal , and then may be Motabha for all his fatherly and wiseman affection...

mansi parekh is wonderful actor. hats off to her emoting skills. she is such a rare actor and she made gulaal come alive on our screens.

rahil azam as vasant was simply great. he was missed dearly.

ali hajii as young kesar was naughty and his tantrums were irksome at times, but that showed what a good actor that child is!

and neil bhatt as the grown up kesar did a fabulous job. no histrionics, but his knew how to emote without raising his voice. his expressions in this role were amazing.

in the closing episode both gulaal and kesar were simply superb. thanks to them for making this show so beautiful!

Thanks ! ...and I agree , the casting of this show was superb , the only miscasts I think were Talli and the new Paan ba

Ya,it was a scene worth reliving again and again !

And you are right in remembring Ali - he was such a sweetheart and so brilliant...though I saw only a few episodes of that time , I will go to youtube and watch all of them ...now that we have seen the grown up Kesar , those scenes will seem even more beautiful and soulful...

I agree with you too much time was given to side characters and they wasted precious GK time...but after the last few disastrous episodes, i was glad atleast in the end they gave us a satisfying confession scene ..

Ya, neil really does wonder with his voice modulation always na , especially whenh he is solding back tears...and Mansi, ofcourse, was wonderful !

Ya , Neil can work wonders with his voice modulation na, especially when he is holding back tears ..and mansi ofcourse was wonderful... she looked like such a kid when she was complaining to Kesar - tu hamesha apni manmaani karta hai !

I don't say this for many actors on Television but I really fortunate to have watched these two on my screen. Simply effortless magic they spell out every time they're together. Will miss them terribly :(
