Yeh! With Vasant, her age was of a teenager anyway (or slightly older) so her behaviour reflected in the VG scenes. They gave that first love, happy-go-lucky type feel while Kesar-Gulaal have always been, erm...Kesar-Gulaal! Too many emotions involved...too many!
The interesting part is with Vasant - Gulaal was literally the teen - well she was 20 something, but that's an almost. And it was her first time. For Kesar - this is the first time, and he is that same 20 something now, that Gulaal was her first time - but so much for their history, even his antics and comic relief and light banter - and even that little boy who peaks around his maturity ever so often - Kesar's love has always been intense and profound like a man who's seen the world, borne its brunt - been there done that! And then there is this contrast to his very worldly wise structure - where the purity of his love is almost too pure, to go down to our GK lingo, there is almost next to no chiii in his head for his love!!! đ I mean, he finds her beautiful - in his own words, tu to humesha se sundar lagti hai - but like we've discussed so many times, he just loves Gulaal, to be his Gulaal.
