I was randomly watching some JWM clips and realized how cute it would be if we got a GK story like that!!! In a odd way, Gulaal has gone from being the bubbly girl to the solemn custom altered woman... and in a way, Gulaal has brought out the true thehraav in Kesar... just like Geet does for Aditya... not to suggest JWM was half as well written a story - but in general, the themes are quite similar, on certain levels!

Yes, the rain had better be for a reason. I still think we were made to miss the opportunity of Gullu fussing over Kesu when he came back all ragged and mucky the other day, cause PooBaa was around... Seconded. It's not just Gulaal, though. I abhor grand public declarations, unless it's done like Kesar did it in front of the family. Cause the point of that scene wasn't for everyone to go ga ga, smile and clap for the couple.

Very well said Arshi. Exactly and precisely so! Unless the confession being public is about something that must be accomplished with an audience... I want a GK exclusive please. I want my eyes - and the camera lens - to find itself with all attention for GK alone, and not have to deal with reactions from A, B, ... Z! Imagining the 'confession' is what keeps this week's feel like a live wire! Just the way the Dushyant showdown was at one point weeks ago... Not to forget it has to match up - and actually beat - the effective scene execution of Kesar's rain confession... I'd take a real hitting confession with every strain of a confession over a grand public declaration any day!

I just watched THE scene for the 459678678th time :P

Random thing I'm finding sweet now...Gulaal says, "Main theek hoon" when Kesar says they should go sit somewhere...interesting that this "main theek hoon" came much after his initial query of "kaisi hai tu"...yes she said it for a different reason but interesting that she said it that point and not before.

This could also be a result of me just being over-obsessed with this scene by this point so if all this sounds incoherent, please ignore :P lol

ps: I loved how she said main thik hu at this point, because the assurance was on account of not being ruffled by the flower girl's jodi salaamat rahe... and not in telling she had been fine from last night to now. Interestingly, neither of them was thik from last night to the point their eyes found each other this day ... so its pretty neat they should not answer the question - and when she does say it now, she is thik, both in being good finally because he's there, and in being fine with the awkward moment! What a life of turnarounds for Galool!
