Next day kesar got up early in the morning he searched for gulaal but still she was nowhere...kesar'eyes kept looking for her..panba saw kesar and called him in the poojaroom?he went there and touched her feet..panba gave her blessing and wished him happ birthday soon other member of the family wished him too
Kesar seeked everyone's blessing and then asked "gulaal kanha hai"
Rewa said "hospital mein emergency thi isliye gulaal bhabhi aaj subah hi nikal gaayi kah gayi thi aaj bahot kam hai unhe"
Kesar remained silent...just said to himself "par ek phone to karna chahiye"
After he had his breakfast talli came and said "shaam ko meine party rakhi hai tumhari liye...discotheque mein tumahre saare college frns ko invite kiya hai...rewa to nahi aa paayegi tum time se pahunch jaana"
Kesar asked "aur gulaal woo aayegi"
Talli said "meine use kal bola tha..usne kaha tha woo aayegi par aaj shayyad kam mein busy hai cell bhi off hai tum try karke dekhna"
Kesar noded his head and left for the work
The day was meaningless for him...he had not seen her so a sadness filled his thought...he tried to call her but it was switched off
In the evening talli called kesar to attend the party...with heavy heart kesar attended his own bday party
He reached the party spot...talli and his friends welcomed him..and the function began
Talli brought the cake...though kesar was sad and disappointed he still cut the cake with all his eyes fixed on the door..waiting for her to come?but today it was not his day
Afterwards he stood in the corner he was not in the mood to dance to enjoy
Vicky came near and said "yeh kya kesar apni hi birthday mein chupchap khada hua hai kya baat hai"
Kesar said "kuch nahi yaar..bas thodhi kaam k tension hai"
And he was quiet
Suddenly he recived a sms in his cell
meet me at mumbai port in half an hour- gulaal
Kesar looked at the sms and his eyes sparkled he smiled widely and was about to leave
Vicky said in between "arey kanha jaa raha hai"
Kesar said "bahoot jaruri meeting hai client ne abhi bulaya hai jaana padega"
Vicky said "par tu apni hi party chod kar jaa raha hai"
Kesar said "sambhal lena yaar"
Vicky replied "kaise?joote padenge mujhe"
Kesar said "to kha lena mere bday par thode se joote bhi nahi kha sakta hai?"
And he rushed to the door
Vicky shouted from back "par talli"
Kesar replied "talli ko tu chod dena plz"
Vicky saw kesar had gone he said "yeh marwaayega mujhe"
Talli came searching kesar and said "kesar kanha hai"
Vicky replied wo to client se milne chala gaya
Talli thought for a sec and dialled his number
Kesar was in his car he didn't anwsered her call
Kesar reached the desitination and searched gulaal he was searching her impateintly
All of suden two soft hand put her hand on his eyes and closed them from behind
Kesar felt the touch and said "gulaal"
Gulaal smiled and said "apni ankhein bilkul nahi kholna aur chupchap chalo"
Gulaal put her hand on his hand and take him to a place
And after walking some distance gulaal stopped she removed her hand from his eyes and said "open your eyes"
Kesar opened his eyes slowly and saw they were standing on the luxirous private yacht.. the dark blue ocean surronded them and the silky evening breeze caressed him...he looked at the yacht and slowly he turned around
"Happy birthday to u happy birthday to u happy birthday kesar happy birthday to u" sang gulaal in the most beautiful voice
Kesar turned around and in the back the sun was setting in the west...amidst it gulaal was standing she wore a light sky blue salwar suit with a light diamond pendat set she was looking like a damsel and the color of sky dropped into kesar's eyes with its own dazzling brightness
He looked at her
Gulaal said "kaise laga"
He said looking at her "bahoot kahubsoorat"
Gulaal smiled and cheerfully said "mujhe pata tha tumhe pasand aayega tum apna bday hamesha se yacht mein sea k beech mein manana chahete the?..isliye yeh boat hire ki hai tumhare liye"she remebered diaba had said her kesar wanted to celebrate his 21 birthday in the yacht while talking to her in beach
Kesar was little surprised...that was his secret wish but it completely skipped his mind he asked in amusement "tumhe kaise pata"
Gulaal said "bas pata hai...kyu batau tumhe"
She continued "so surprise kaise laga"
Kesar said "bahoot acha"
He paused and asked "tumne kal mujhe sabse pehle bday kyu nahi wish kiya"
Gulaal said in low voice haan socha tha sabse pehle tumhe bday wish karu...phir socha koi sabse special insaan tumhe sabse pehle bday wish kare har saal k tarah...isliye chaali gayi aur phir hospital mein emergency aa gaayi..isliye jaana pada bas abhi furasat mili hai"
Kesar remained silent he just looked at her..after so many hours he has seen her...he wanted the time to stop for the moment so that he can relish her sight
Gulaal looked at kesar and said "to phir soch kya rahe ho apne saare friends ko bula lo party nahi karni hai"
Kesar smiled he took out his cell and then he thought for a sec and then changed his mind
He lied "gulaal koi nahi aa sakta sab bahoot busy kal internal hain sab uski tayyari kar rahe hain"
Gulaal said "to phir talli aur rewa ko bula lo"
Kesar said "yogeshbha k parents aaye hue isliye rewa unke saath dinner legi aur talli bhi nahi aa sakti uske office mein workload jyaada hai isliye busy hai"
Gulaal said "to phir kya kare"
Kesar asked in the low voice "koi nahi hai...kya mein aur tum saath mein bday celebrate karle?"
Gulaal looked at him and gave her consent
Kesar called rewa and made an excuse that he and gulaal are busy in the work..rewa told him to enjoy as she will handle the situation
The yacht proceded out of the slip and into the bay abreast of the ocean...kesar and gulaal were watching the ocean they could smell the ocean breeze..they could see the fish diving and playing in the water from the far distance...they saw other boats that looked like a speck...gulaal and kesar loved ocean they loved to sail the ocean..there was something majestic and romantic to wtiness the sunset from the bow of the yacht...they looked at the ocean and then they looked at each other wih their glowing faces
Gulaal went inside and came up with the cake
And said "cake katna se pehle make a wish"
Kesar looked at her and said "mein chahta hum har saal mere bday par sabse pehle tum mujhe wish karo"
Gulaal smiled a bit...Kesar blew the candles and cut the cake gulaal and kesar feed each other
Mischieviously gulaal put icing on kesar face wishing him happy bday again
Kesar said "hey not fair"..he took the icing in his finger and was about to put on gulaal face...gulaal closed her eyes and he stopped as he didn't wanted to blemish her flawless skin...he just gave up...he stood silent for sometime and looked at her...his passionae fervor glowed in his face and his devotion in the soft silence was turning into undying love for her
Gulaal opened her eyes and kesar turned away his eyes from her.
Afterwards kesar and gulaal dinned together...gulaal had ordered kesar favourite dish?.they had their dinner peacefully

Kesar then looked at the bar counter of the yacht and asked "chamapagne peeyogi"
Gulaal looked surprised she said "tumhe pata hai mein alchohol nahi leti"
Kesar said "oh common chamapagne alcohol nahi hoti"
Gulaal looked at him and said "bahoot research kari hai alchohol mein?"
Kesr said haan "subject hai...par on the second thought jaane do...tumhe chamapgne bhi chad (drunk ) jayegi"
Gulaal said "nahi chadegi bas mujhe bitter lagti hai"
Kesar said playfully "bahane hai...tum weak ho tumse chamapange bhi digest nahi hogi rehne do mein orange juice order kar deta hun"
Gulaal said "mein bahoot strong hun aur chamapagne nahi wine order karo...mujhe nahi chadegi"
Kesar looked at her smiled and said "ok dekhte hai"
Kesar ordered wine for them and gulaal drank three pegs of wine instantly
Gulaal was drunk..she said "one more"
Kesar said "nahi bilkul nahi tum already teen peg le chuki ho ab bilkul nahi"
Gulaal said in drunken state "to kya hua...mein bahoot strong hun aur mujhe nahi chadi hai ok now give me"
And she snatched the wine bottle and ran...gulaal was laughing she felt free and careless...kesar also ran behind her..they were laughing...gulaal stopped and kesar snatched the bottle back..they were breathless so they sat on the deck...after a while kesar looked around the ocean was calm it was the lovely placed night; a full moon floated in the clear sky the moonlight illuminated the ocean and stars were twinkling above them...
Kesar and gulaal looked at the lovely sky above them and lay on the yacht deck..they lay beside each other.. gazing the sky, the dazzling stars and the silvery and calm moon
Kesar looked at wonderful pictersique and said "sabkuch ktina khubsoorat haina...lovely night beautiful sea aur tum...mein apni poori life yanha is yacht mein spend kar sakta hun"
And then he looked at gulaal who was staring the sky with a lovely smile
Gulaal said "mein bhi and look at the moon so beautiful isn't it"
Kesar was looking at her with love he said "haan bahoot sundar hai"
Gulaal said "tumhe pata hai jab choti thi har raat ko chat par beith kar chaand dekhti thi bahoot acha lagta hai mujhe"
And then she sat on the deck floor and said "yeh chaand hamesha humare pass rehta hai...kanhi par bhi chale jaaye humara saath nahi chodta...har safar mein humare saath saath chalta hai...apni roshni se saare andhere door kar deta hain..."
And then she thought...the loneliness and pain slowly crept in her heart and she said in sadness "par itne paas rehte hue bhi yeh humse kitna door hain...chahe kar bhi hum ise paa nahi sakte" she was pouring her heart out...she was talking about her pain of losing kesar in future...she was talking about her helplessness not to fall in love with him
Kesar looked at her...the sarrow the pain and the agony in her heart reflected in her face...kesar was puzzled...gulaal remained silent for a moment in deep grief...she struggled to respress the tears that forced the way from her saddened heart
With the deep vulnerability in her eyes she said "kesar...mein...tum..tum mujhe bhool to nahi jaayoge"
Kesar was shocked to hear it he asked "yeh kya kah rahi ho gulaal"
Gulaal looked at kesar for a moment she struggled with the fast raising tears and placing her head on kesar shoulder she wept...she sobbed as if her heart will would break
Kesar was confused...he was clueless he just lock her in his arms...he stood for a while...then looked at her...gulaal had fallen asleep in his warm arms...kesar looked at her and gently lift her and carried to the bed...he laid her on bed and genlty put the blanket on her...for a moment he stood still he looked at the innocent glow of her face..she was sleeping like a baby...he touched her cheeks gently and said "kesar khud ko bhul sakta hai par gulaal ko kabhi nahi"
Next morning gulaal woke and looked the surronding in the puzzled state?then she came out of the cabin and moved upstairs and searched kesar...kesar was standing on the deck...enjoying the morning ocean breeze
kesar looked back and smiled and said "good morning"
then he bring her the lime water and said "yeh lo pee lo and how are u feeling now"
gulaal looked at him and said "kal raat ko"
he looked at her and said "kal raat ko kuch nahi...tume thodi si wine pee thi aur tumhe bilkul nahi chadi...i must say bahoot strong ho mein ab tumhe kabhi challenge nahi karoonga"
gulaal drank the limewater but she was not feeling good not becoz of the hangover but becoz she had almost lost her control previous night...she knew what she had said to kesar last night and now she was in the deep thought
kesar looked at her and asked "waise tum kal kya kah rahi thi chaand...bhul jayoge"
Gulaal said "kuch nahi...ghar chalte hain"
And she turned around around kesar hold her hand and said "kuch der aur ruk jaate hain...mera abhi man nahi kar raha...jyada der nahi hogi"
Gulaal said "nahi pehle hi bahoot der ho chuki hai...ab aur der nahi kar sakti"
And she left leaving him puzzled
After a few hours gulaal and kesar drove home.
