^But would you not ASK her why she did all this? First night you are too overwhelmed with the facts which is understandable but surely the next day you would want answers!! I know I would!

no...don't get me wrong! what I'm saying is it takes little bit of time to start thinking rationally...we are all regulal human being Reema...none of us are as mahan as Gulaal...this kind of reactions are absolutely normal...But, I'd say that now Motaa ba should get over the initial shock and start thinking rationally...he sould start questionaing himself now about Gulaal's intension being wrong.

^You're right! :)) The reactions are normal but I don't think the members would have been as harsh if Gulaal was the daughter of the house. No mother accuses her daughter of having wrong intentions towards another man.

Till now, Motabha hasn't said anything about her possibly having an illicit relationship with Dushyant. The rest may say it, but I don't think he will say that.

Right...Motaaba's only concern is justified...now, when everything settles down..if Gulaal and Kesar talks to him...I'm sure he would understand!!!

not taking side , but may be MB was thinking in same way when G decided to hide it way long back , both are on same boat , but when it comes to death of his son , things change, and yes its double standards but the depth of both things are different ...

Hello All!

I was watching today's episode and this thought kept gnawing at ma tiny brain...
Gulaal hid the unpleasant truth from the family for "Greater Good". I agree it was wrong on her part and she shudn't have been so enveloped by that promise she gave to Vasanth. Atleast Mota Bha and Paan Ba deserved to know of their son's death.
Neways the fact doesn't change that she thought about the family and hid the truth from them.

Mota Bha said "The person who hides another's crime is equally guilty"
Why isn't this applicable to the entire family???
Today SP blamed Gulaal for toying with her feelings and hopes...well it was originally "Righteous" Mota Bha's idea. He decided to hide the truth about the Deeyarvattu's breaking from SP for her happiness...

That's just wat Gulaal did...maybe of a larger scale coz it involves a person's death...
Hid the truth so that the family stays together.

Similarities...Mota Bha hid the truth from SP for her happiness
Gulaal did the same...

It all comes down to ... "Tum chupao toh bhalai ke liye...Hum chupaye toh Gunaah?"

Double Standards I tell you!

ya same thought (double standards)striked me too . it happened wat expected in real. they can't bear such greatness when comes to their son. it's human n real. but accusing gulaal n dushy affair is too much after so many yrs seeing gulaal n knowing her wat she is n her intentions.in yester epi it striked me that mb,pb didn't really doubted the inten of gulaal n they may vocal it later i think.
so it's clear in today's epi. MIL,FIL can't be mom n dad they proved it.becos in real DILs can't be daughters they are accused easily by MIL,FILs. so when they come to their son they are no exception. it's gulaal mistake to go faraway for this family who can't understand her greatness.
an eyeopening for gulaal. eventhough paining for her 😭 for it makes good for her 😃 .
anything too much becoms poison.😃

Agreed...!! Any sane person would be yearning to know the reason.. but the whole family seems to be so happily contented with the half truth they know... (It was somewhat surprising tht even Kesar told Rewa tht there "might be" some grave reason behind gul hiding the truth.. didn't gul tell him in yesterday's episode tht she did tht to keep the family intact..)

You are sooo right, It was mota bha's wonderful idea to hide the fact of the deyarvatu, gulaal and kesar wanted to tell the truth. so according to your point mota bha is also guilty from hiding the truth for the family's happiness. he did the same thing gulaal is doing. I am not defending the fact that gulaal hiding the truth about vasant death.
