Ohhh Today's episode was so emotional. Especially the last Kes - Gul scene, this one Kes - Gul scene made my eyes wet too. I was deeply moved by this emotional scene. Both Neil and Manasi did a brilliant job. As Kes - Gul were crying.. ohhh I could feel their agony that they went through... Such amazing portrayal by both the actors.. 👏
Btw, Srushti Nice post..

Heart-wrencher of a scene and to see Gulaal like this, so broken - so hurt, everything crashed around her, her strength gone - that everything she did, mounted to nothing when you know how much she fought and kept going and exist after Vasant and for the family
As you say no words can be enough to describe it and the pain of Gulaal also
Manasi 👏👏

She tried so hard to hold it in...right till Kesar told her to cry and that's when she burst!

People can question her actions but the entire family should know that her intentions have always been in the best interests of the family. Yes, she may have made a mistake but why punish her by negating everything she did for them in the past 10 years?

The first scene of the episode..took my breath away..Kudos to the CV'S for giving us such a great scene without being typical and cliche...Mansi...was superb..what Fab acting...this..is sheer brilliance I like the way...the scene was handled ...like Reemz quoted yesterday ..janta hun...tumhe sahare ki zarurat nahi...main to dirf saath dene aya hun...exactly the first scene was all about saath...as kesar said in the last scene..main tumhara saath har kadam par dunga...Reemz..I actually remembered you when Kesar said that...Much less said about yogesh and his acting skills ..the better*cringe*...

Sheer brilliance is absolutely correct! Manasi was truly outstanding! You don't even get this level of performance in movies!!

Luckily my net played up during the Yogesh scene!😛

Reema i m posting here what i posted in srush's thread also...

in the scene whr paan ba was getting angry on gulaal, she was listening to all the things but when this dialogue came from MB that "tu ne vasant ko bhi dhoka diya hai"... it just struck her so badly... she had the worst shock of her life, Vasant, his family, his dreams, his memories r everything to her, she treasure them more than any other precious treasure can be treasured in this world... n when she was blamed to betray her reason for existence, she lost it... she lost it all...

all her stamina, power, patience, everything ended... she must have felt like she did the worst crime in the world, she must have felt that she is left alone now n as she thinks, she is the reason behind this... but no, her intentions vr never wrong n yes... kesar knows this...

kesar... gulaal's biggest support... he knows gulaal's intentions vr never wrong, he knows what vasant is for her n what is the importance of this family for her... he knows that all these years the fire burning inside his heart was also burning in gulaal's heart ... when kesar came back, after a while he was able to take his anger out on gulaal, he was able to convey to gulaal that a fire is burning deep inside him but gulaal never had that opportunity... but today kesar was indirectly pushing her to grab this opportunity, to cry, cry her pain out, cry her fears out, cry out all the sorrows buried inside her heart n most significantly... the fire burning inside her heart can only be extinguished with her tears... its like, us k ansu us aag jo bujha k sab burden apne sath baha le gaye...

I putting what I replied to you on my thread Reema

All the actors put in so much... I really wonder in what state they would be at the time of pack up...emotionally drained and exhausted ...they must be feeling the toll on themselves too na..It is not possible to give this kind of performance and remain completely detached...HAts off serioulsy...I sincerely do wish every one...actors and the whole team all the best in their lives further..

You know when you have this mental block and you just don't know what to say or how to word what you wish to express? Well I feel like that today.

We got days of brillance from NB, SS and MJ. Today was Manasi's turn (with great support from NB) and damn she left me speechless. How is this woman not even nominated in the BA category? We really do live in ghor kalyug.

Today Gulaal lost everything. It hit her...hit her HARD. The house, the family which she never looked beyond have all turned away from her. The self-assured woman suddenly became so insecure of herself. She questioned every action of hers which she committed to protect her family! Despite having the best intentions at heart, she is being called a CHEAT. Manasi's wide-eyes, jittery movements got me all freaked out because it all felt so genuine. I kept wondering what is she going to do?!

When Gulaal starts losing it, Kesar holds her (no he doesn't shake and slap like we see in every other show/movie). He tells her to cry...cry and let it ALL out! What I witnessed after that was simply excruciating pain which Gulaal had kept within her for 10 whole years. That suffocation, those burdens which had built over time all were left out.

How did she do that? She firmly pushed her head against her wall i.e. Kesar. He stood there and let her take out all the pain. What MINDBLOWING acting! Then that sob, it was freakish! Dear television bahus, want to learn how to act? Please give Manasi Parekh a visit. Not to forget Neil who really supported her like Kesar did to Gulaal. There were some outstanding expressions from both of them.

Just watch the scene and absorb the emotions! Whatever I say today, will NOT be enough!

You nailed her emotions! 👏
Nobody will understand the remorse that she has from the past has always haunted her day and night, but she still kept it as a hope that nothing will go wrong. But here she was wrong. Her intentions were without malice but has she thought that this would turn other way around? She never thought that. These two have done a fab job, their expressions says it all everytime they confront eachother and yes you were right when kesar just stood there and the way he let her take out everything was simply out of this world. The way she had her head lean against him, was soo magical. To me it showed that she is ready to put herself on kesar without her actually knowing it. She never have break down infront of kesar like that.
First hug with first feelings towards her love!

Thanks Reema, I was waiting for you to open a thread. Aww thank you!

This was the most well played and a heart breaking union of two souls deprived of solace since Vasant's death. In a way it was a closure for both of them over Vasant's departure from their lives. So true. They needed to let it all out...all that pain they had shared but buried in their heart.

I can swear upon anything and to be honest I was thinking of a scene where Kesar would ask Gulaal to let down her emotions. I have actually seen a similar scene in a award winning movie of 1994 in Malayalam. So I was reminded of the scene when for long it was being discussed that Gulaal and Kesar has never had a chance to let out their emotions and grieve. Again that scene in that 1994 movie was a benchmark. For 10 years, both have piled up their emotions over Vasant's death. Both have been deeply connected to that one person Vasant.

Today, when I saw Gulaal who started to share her burden with Kesar, it was much of a relief. She knew it was Kesar without turning to look. Manasi enacted it so well when Gulaal was so low in self-esteem and blamed herself over the decisions taken single handedly due to her belief that she could differentiate right from wrong over all these years. She tried to finally explain to him that she wronged him too by denying him the answers that he once questioned her for. She automatically started unburdening as soon as he came in. Remember how hard it used to be to get anything out of her? But today it just came out. Manasi's act as the insecure and jittery Gulaal was really applaud-worthy!

That bit was done beautifully when Gulaal's self esteem hit an all time low. She started out saying that she had indeed lost Vasant but she has lost her family too. She doubted her own decisions, she doubted herself. She tried to clarify that she decided to hide the fact thinking it would ruin the family. When she said that she was not justifying but blaming herself that she made the wrong decision. And since she felt she had made that mistake, she wanted to be punished.

She was quite hysteric as she repeated" Mujhe saza milni chahiye". Heartbreaking it was </3

Kesar tried to pacify her saying eventually people would understand but when he found her hysteric, he could not see her in so much pain. He realized that she has contained that grief over so long a period. Kesar knows her too well and knows exactly what is needed for the situation. He hurts seeing her hurt. When Gulaal tuned hysteric, he shook her out of that frenzy calling out to her twice.

Gulaal'Gulaal'Mat rok apne aap ko".

He had to tell her not to have those emotions within her anymore.
Neil's voice modulation was too heart wrenching when Kesar repeated the "Mat rok" for the second time." I loved the stretched ROHHH! Kesar really melts my heart. Why don't they make guys like him in real?
Tod dey apne dukhon ka bhaand". That was a classic statement. She had over the 10 years built a solid dam of sorrows for herself."Ro le" repeated thrice over was a request to her to break open and let out her tears for once. The scene was beautifully shot where they held each other by their forheads as Kesar and Gulaal cried for themselves together, for each other. Once again it goes to prove how well he knows her, her heart and soul. All that angst she let out by leaning on his forehead was showing how much sorrow she had kept within her.

That support was all that was needed for Gulaal. No one has given her the freedom to let out her emotions because she had to appear strong to take care of the family. She needed that moral support today. Here was the guy who is allowing her to CRY and be herself and get over with those pent up emotions. The way Gulaal cried her heart out can make a stone hearted individual hurt within. He was that solid pillar of strength in that moment of grief. It was really heart-wrenching to see her cry holding on to him saying "Yeh ghar hi meri duniya hai, aur meri hi duniya ujad gayi".

The following scene Kesar is blaming his own anger for her grief and has promised that he would stand by her come what may.

Wow man, I am emotional yaar seeing this. Come on I need an icecream. This story doesn't allow me to diet.

It was really emotional man!!! I'll have chocolate ice cream please!
