As I mentioned in EDT,
there is something about what Dushyant said to Police that still they are not aware of who did the accident and kesar's reaction to it...
Well I guess they gonna bring Durgesh angle..he may be the one who gave final blow to Vasant..coz Vasant's body was never recovered ..it cannot vanish from river just like that. Since Durgesh's men were behind the accident and they also saw Dushyant pushing Vasnt into river..so its highly possible durgesh made an oppurtunistic attack...ek teer se dho nishaan but all his plans fell flat when gulaal forgave dushy...
so somewhere i think they will show Kesar exploring the truth..do we have enought time left for it ?
i mean how can they wrap the show at this peak time ?

I don't know if it is important but I suppose the diaries will also reveal that Dushy did not do all this for the factory or the money or anything materialistic but that he killed Vasant to get Gulaal.

^^ Ditto that. It's time for the underlying psyches to come to fore. Dushyant's reason to murder Vasant - when he said today ek kamzor pal ka paap - no one questioned it, because no one was in a position to. But a man at that rock bottom level never lies. I hope the house will see it hence one day. While I don't want SS to leave now, with only days left for the show - and though I want Dushyant forgiven... I don't think his coming back to the house will serve a good idea to the reality of this storyline. Gulaal has taken a decade to become her civil self... and although the others have so much of his goodness to consider already, which she did not back then - I can't buy Dushyant just being forgiven so easily... from the heart. Accepted, maybe, forgiven - even Gulaal hasn't managed that till date! And maybe this is silly, but I don't want him to come back to the house where he's only accepted, never a part of the hearts anymore - which was summed up and confirmed in his sentence - meri zindagi bhar ki achai par bhari hai, aur humesha rahega!

Anyway - like I said, its time for the psyches to surface - Gulaal's psyche, Dushyant's psyche... the entire history of that accident and the extent of Dushyant's role to give it a culmination in Vasant's death - but never having played the real role! Like I've said at other times, the realization of Dushyant's motivation inj killing Vasant is necessary to believe the credibility of his reform. The way it is now - he was only ever trying to replace the heir of the house with himself - and hence Kesar's more than much agitation yesterday at the money suddenly seems every second justified... it's like from the second the money matter rose like a doubt inside of him, he begun consciously or subconsciously fabricating this conclusion about why Dushyant had killed his brother - honestly, even if he's been all in wrath about it since the day he learned the truth a decade ago - he's never been in light of a probable reason, and at times part of his dilemma in the murder mystery, beyond Gulaal's betrayal has been Dushyant's reason - like the time Dushyant confronts him and asks what the city has done to him and why he's such a cold person now, and when DUshyant claims he dotes on him as a younger brother - the scene after that of Kesar alone does go along the lines of Kesar admitting he knows Dushyant loves him - but then why did he kill his Vasant Bha... I think Kesar's idea about Dushyant wanting sole control may have only been a watermark in the far back of his mind where he has never explored the idea much - but yesterday when the entire money scandal popped up, it was like the pieces of his warped up jigsaw of logic came together and he had a bri9ght flash of Dushyant's motive - which is supported by evidence which is factually correct - but not in essence... the missing 22 lakhs that is!

I don't know if Gulaal will actually leave the house BUT I do hope that if she does...Kesu finds her diaries. This is the perfect time for those diaries to be read because then the family will actually find out why Gulaal did what she did. Poor Kesu, the realization of what he had done dawned on his face when MB turned to question Gulaal. That unfortunately is just the beginning and tomorrow he will feel the real impact of the can of worms he has opened.

I felt really really bad for MB today. In essence, he is head of the family for namesake only. I was thinking of all the decisions the younger generation have taken without consulting MB and I could understand his frustration on being the last person to find things out. Took me back to the day he had lectured Gul and Kes...when Kesar said...MB, you have been sick for the past couple of days, MB replied - "beemaar thaa, mar toh nahi gaya thaa na? Jis din Gulaal ne tere saath DV kiyaa us din bhi main beemaar thaa aur aaj tune DV toda, toh abh bhi mai beemar hoo! DV was done and broken without his knowledge, Kesar agreed to marry Talli and then he decided to cancel the wedding halfway (again MB was just a bystander), Dushy paid dowry without his knowledge, Dushy paid Raman's gambling debt without his knowledge, Gulaal and Kesar knew that Dushy had murdered Vasant...again MB was kept in the dark...

I hope this is not the last we see of Dushy...I hope MB forgives him...

@ bold: exactly, that's what i mentioned earlier in this thread. That diary plays an important role for the family to see what exactly has happened through out those years. I think if the dicourse regarding gulaal's past experience with vasant's murder and dushyant's wrong doings and again his repentence will actually give some light to gulaal's justification. And that should happen later. As for kesar, he knew that gulaal hide the truth but still he is also unaware of what has happend with her after vasants death. So that diary will be a good play in between these events..

Bottomline, no matter what the reason may have been...it was WRONG and Dushy murdered his own brother BUT I still don't want everyone to believe that he did it to control all of MB's property and money because then there is no difference between Dushy and Raman. I don't know if I am making sense..but like you said..it is time for the underlying psyches to surface.

Its the same with Gulaal. I want people to know why she hid all this from the family. She married Kesar because in her words - Aaj is ghar kii dhaal banne ke liye, mujhe Kesar ko apni dhaal banaana pada! Again, hiding the truth about V's death was wrong BUT she did it to protect the family from breaking up.

There is no Black or White in these matters...there is a huge area of Grey. Dushy committed a crime but he has been repenting for the past 10 years and the biggest thing is that he transformed himself. Raman was caught went to jail but came out as the same villain...so there is a huge difference and I don't want Dushy to be slotted in the Black or White area...

More on wonderful expression nuances:

When JK falls at MB's feet to plead Dushyant's case, the moment she says aapko jo sazaa deni hai mujhe de dijiye... the camera goes to zoom on Kesar and his expression lacks disgust in that moment, even the rightful justice attained - it may not be utterly pained for JK, but it certainly bears evidence of the coming of a realization of what's begun to unfold in consequence of the grand showdown...

And again, when JK goes to plead the case with Gulaal, when she says aaj kyu chup hai tu... after saying that she always wanted the house to be one... you see a fidgety expression in Gulaal's eyes... it is obvious that she could be drowning in the sorrow of her wounds opening fresh, but she is just as cognizant of her truth of having hidden this secret at that second, as she was aware yesterday in the final parts about where Kesar was headed when she rushed to stop him! Its like JK's plea to save Dushyant to keep the house unified is like hitting the exact nerve - its what she's been doing, and only with noble intention, but she knows if the fact opens up its going to be another blow - and her eyes are fidgety at that...

and at the same point, when the camera zooms to Kesar, his face bears this expression, which is almost a silent bitter resignedly challenging way of saying ab Gulaal bhi kuch ni chupa sakti... bacha sakti!... not in being cross with her or indignant, but simply in sharing secretly the knowledge of her having hidden the truth - a fact that only he knows other than G-D.

The focus has shifted to why Gulaal kept them in the dark in spite of knowing this all these years. But no one has yet asked KESAR how he knows about Dushyant's crime. Hope he is asked about it. Because he is the one who revealed the truth.

I doubt that will come to fore. In a way - its not so significant either - unless, it is the means to dig out Durgesh chapter - but except that, Kesar having known it can't be passed in a blurwith the greater happenings. Although I personally raised this point one of the other days, of how unfair it is for Gulaal to be punished but not Kesar for hiding the same truth (when even the motives, Gulaal's for family welfare, and Kesar only for Gulaal's sake show favor for Gulaal) but fact is, Kesar has never been at the pedestal where Dushyant or Gulaal were - he can never be as much a fallen angel, as those two - because at no point so far has he been the ideal heir. Even his reform has been overshadowed by the preceding part of his impulsive blunders... and has has only been perceived as him in the making up phase now. And really, although his reason is the most trivial of all - anyone and everyone in that house would be willing to buy and even live with the fact that Kesar hid the truth after learning it, for Gulaal's sake, on her bidding - another finger raised against her hence! Because everyone knows, Kesar would never say no to Gulaal! And no one would imagine Kesar having wanted to save Dushyant - considering he's the one responsible now for bringing out the truth, with such vengeance!

So yes - unless the how Kesar came to know chapter will be linked to bring back DUrgesh, I think this little detail will be easily passed.
