My favorite part was when Dushyant broke down repeating the crime he had committed. It was as if by repeating "Yeh sach hai Motaba, Yeh sach hai Motaba", he was confessing the crime repeatedly reliving those moments that he could never confess before. By repeating he was finding solace that at last he could cry it out loud. His repentance had long wanted him to do it, but he was quiet for the responsibility he had taken over to substitute the need of a son to this house.

Another best part was when Dushyant confessed looking at Vasant's photo that he has never been able to spend a peaceful night after that day.
I liked the entire episode, everyone's pain and emotions were justified. I loved Kesar's slow realization of the the devastating effect the revelation of the truth had brought in the lives of all the family members.
It was indeed a grand and glorified exit to Dushyant as a character. Loved it.

He repeated that line more than 10 times I think. It was like the last 10 years were a lie and the only real truth was that he did commit that heinous crime. Finally he could let it all out , the burden has been lifted even though he will never really be at peace with himself.

If this was D's last scene then I applaud the writers for doing justice to the character and actor 👏

Like Nur said, I don't think she ever resented Gulaal. In fact she's always showered her love on Gulaal but now I don't see her approving of Kesar going gaga over Gulaal.

I think this will turn positively for GK, Gulaal may not be left the house but every one else Kesar will turn against her. Kesar is going to be her solemn support and here she may just realise what Kesar actually means for her...

Heartbreaking episode! 😭

I had tears in my eyes through out the episode! Its the show that pulls you towards it and make you feel every single emotions and will make you flow with it. What an episode!!!!👏 It has crosses all the high standard serials!! I feel like praising more but i know this wont be enough. So i'll just talk about the episode! 😊
I loved dushyant today, the plight that he was in was horrible indeed but the way he showed his regretion, i was soo touched by it. It gets hard to see dushaynt surrendering himself to the police after what he did for the family in the past 10 years...but still his punishment was inevitable and we knew that was coming in. So dushyant is gone, and never coming back..? or else if the serial is meant to stay for long( may god fullfill that) then i think some day the family will be able to forgive him and bring him back home...
How will everyone trust a perfidious gulaal? that is really scary. Its obvious that everyone will going to blame her the same as dushyant because thats how the situtaion was seen. But we know how she has come along with all those pain for all those years. I think this will be the high point for kesar as he might find her diary which she used to write and that will probably justify her point regarding saving dushyant?
I am curious to know what will happen tomorrow!! 😕

You said it! As viewers, we just get drawn in to these lives and today it all felt so real.

I think if the show is really ending then I don't think there could be a more fitting end to Dushyant's character except that Kesar should find out about Raman's real intentions. Maybe one last consolation scene between Kesar and Dushyant?!

Rather than the diary, it would be better if Gulaal actually confided in Kesar. Vasant's death is something they both need to talk about.

This is what I mentioned in JZee's thread few hours back on her yesterday's post

In all this, I still feel the real reason behind Dushyant killing Vasant will be at least revealed to Kesar sooner or later. Again so to speak, Kesar has the right to know the actual reason behind Vasant's killing because 1) He is Vasant's brother 2) and more so Kesar is Gulaal's husband and 3) Kesar has this misconception about Raman being good. 4) Raman has to pay for his crime.

I feel one of these days someone would come across that so called NO DUES clearance signed by the goons on the bond paper and realize that the money was for Raman.
The important reason being there should be some credit to Dushyant's reform in 10 years.

WOW! Just so wowed by how well the show handled this - like you said - the acting, the script, the cinematography - all par execllence. MB and D, wow, so amazing - their expressions! I am thinking so hard as to how the situation will unfold...but to me it is hard to find any right and wrong here - D WAS wrong, he committed an unpardonable crime. But he is a almost another person today - so far away from that person, you almost feel like ek ki saja doosre ko mil rahi hai. I am not sure I find fault with G either - she embraced ONE thing - here vada to Vasant and his dream, and in dedicating herself, did what she thought was best. You could understand the emotion of each an every individual in the scene, while only feeling heartbreak...unlike traditional hindi cinema, it was so hard to turn all negatives to and blame just one person, feel very righteous, and be done with it! So amazing, that they power packed the scene so full of content and superb performances, instead of [saying one line, showing everyone's pasty face, move to the next line], repeat this in a Do loop...like all other shows...a recent one I saw: "Arey! Ye dhokla to meetha hai!!!!", and then dramatic music as if that is the end of the world...(*feeble attempt at laughter trying to deal with all the emotions from today's show*)

Anyways, love love love this show!
Hey by the way, I am speculating that Yogesh is also playing "jua" and will be in trouble soon...Kesar will step in to help his sister, maybe that's how he will find out about the rest of the money - it might be the same people he visits...well, that's too much though for today, we will think about it when we come to that!

You said it!! Dushyant's act was wrong but it's rare to find situations where we sympathise with the murderer. The writers of this show are so skilled that they've achieved this feat of making the viewers empathise with the emotions of Dushyant. For 10 whole years, he has lived everyday in that house, amongst those people trying to become the better person in the hope that maybe his guilt of murdering his own brother would lessen but deep down he knew that till he is living this dual life, there will be no freedom.

We understand why Gulaal hid the truth but once again there is no clear cut answer here either. She wanted to keep the family together but she also took away the rights of the parents to know what had happened to their son. It's all big bag full of emotions that we are fortunate to see on our TV sets!

Anyways, I guess I just have to blank out this lame new PB and her sadeli lines and focus on G and K instead.

I guess I had imagined her to react in a certain way so she was slightly better than I had expected...let's put it that way. I remember how the old actress had emoted when she told Gulaal to stop bothering about Kesar and that's why I really wished she was still in the show for this particular scene :(

Can't wait to see how it's going to be done because now both of them are so emotionally involved with each other that we'll hopefully get yearning from both sides.

True. If Raman's true face is to come out (which it must) then that should make Kesar realize that Dushyant's intentions in the past 10 years were all very genuine.
