Lovely post about a lovely scene 😊. Kesar and his dhol took Gulaal into her past.It brought back the euphoric feelings, the emotions she had once felt due to/in front of Vasant. And the way she was surprized that it was not Vasant this time but Kesar who had brought back these emotions. And the realization... that she felt drawn towards Kesar just like she was drawn towards Vasant once was of course going to surprize her. I liked how she put her hand on her forehead 😆. Bringing in the Vasant angle was good in this case, since Vasant symbolizes love for her and giving a place to Kesar in her very private thoughts about Vasant was almost about seeing Kesar in a new light for her...Yes it was a very very subtle intrusion by Kesar in Gulaal's thoughts about Vasant...and I liked it a lot.

Oh and I also liked the way she put her hand to her forehead when she came out of that daze/trance...the most significant bits of that scene were all in her reaction when she comes out of that daze and realizes it's KESAR...I also liked the way they showed the entire bit with her almost putting her hand on her heart to show how overwhelmed she was by the rush of those emotions...as if to say, "be still, my racing heart"...Manasi's acting was solid in this scene👍🏼

Jze, I have always been a silent reader of your posts and threads. As usual a superb post. Just now went through all the discussions.

Thanks to Jzee, Reemz and Praniti for the clarifications cos I too was a bit confused as to why Gulaal was remembering Vasanth on seeing Kesar playing the dhol, I couldn't get the point but felt that whatsoever Gulaal must see Kesar as Kesar and not Vasanth in Kesar.

It was indeed a very beautiful scene.. Gulaal went back to her past on seeing Kesar playing the dhol. She, irrespective of her controlled feelings, thoughts and emotions, got carried away and had some kind of feelings and attraction on seeing Kesar playing the dhol and when she realises the fact that it was Kesar and not Vasanth, she was so embarrassed on the very actual fact. The joy, the happiness, the feelings and the attraction that she once had for Vasanth has developed again but this time its for Kesar.. and this was very obvious when she got embarrassed after realising that it was Kesar who was playing the dhol. I must say Manasi did a terrific job in the scene where she realises it.

I always was interested on how Gulaal would get attracted towards Kesar, and how she would realise her feelings for him which is hid deep down in her heart. In yesterday's episode (26 July 2011 ).. I could see a glimpse of that. Its really nice to see such changes in Gulaal. Waiting for more...
