Tallli's dialogue to Kesar is significant. She said what if family is good and the person with whom you seek happiness does not love you. It applies to Kesar too. What is the point if Gulaal does not love Kesar back. The article says Kesar is frustrated that neither Gulaal is moving on nor is allowing him to move on.
Like Talli decides to sacrifice and decides to move on with a guy who says he loves her, there is every possibility for Kesar to move on with Talli. It is a show, so we know what would be the end result. But such possibilities are always open. Wonder what would Gulaal do by then if she realizes Kesar's love for her. Then it would be perfect soup.
Kesar loves Gulaal and Talli. Gulaal loves Kesar and Talli. Talli loves Kesar and Gulaal. WE ARE FAMILY
@ bold - I personally think the moving on, on Kesar's part is purely on account of his letting his love go, not finding a replacement. Talli has used the pretext of 'seeking happiness' to move out of GK's way... Kesar doesn't need to do any of that. Technically, if Talli had an option, in her opinion, she would probably not consider moving on to another guy either - it's so obvious she's not ready to! There is a process of moving on, which comes in two stages. Moving on from the person you can't have. Becoming ready to embrace a new person.
Both Talli and Kesar at this point have not even accomplished stage 1. Somewhere, when Gulaal told Kesar that Talli should give herself time to move on, she was talking about this - because ofc she would know, wouldn't she?!
Gulaal herself has a different issue. She's not stuck to Vasant, for Vasant alone. Her position is far from Kesar and Talli's because Vasant is dead - and that is a huge difference, whatever she may say of selfless love and blah! Additionally, her not being ready to accept another person would have been a choice, if she had given herself space for that choice. Somewhere, tying herself with that DV, she did limit her freedom... just like MB and PB warned her at that time.
Again, back to Talli and Kesar - Kesar cannot move on, because his love is not an illusion, it never was. I'm not saying all of Talli's love is purely an illusion, but one has to admit it's very foundation is a sort of dubious inception. She has loved a man for 10 years, without knowing his heart or mind. Top it with the man being 'officially married'. Add the fact that the Gulaal who has promised her for a decade to get KT together has in fact been shunned by Kesar himself for a decade... Was there ever a dearth of reasons for Talli to not pay heed to?! Kesar has loved 'his wife' for 10 years. A wife, he doesn't assume wife, but has been told about hence. When Gulaal asked him f he would do as she said, he agreed and did her bidding. After the DV, while there were all those outside sources to corrupt is mind with the idea of Gulaal being his wife - no one, absolutely no one ever tried to tell him hat Gulaal was not, and never would be his wife in the real sense, and that this was only a time gap arrangement. He was never given that understanding, so he developed one of his own!
Which brings us back to why Kesar can move away from Gulaal - for her sake - but not move on from loving her.
