I honestly did not understand what the creatives were trying to do today. First they show Talli as the sacrificial lamb and now her emotional blackmailing. Can she get more obvious? The whole DDLJ dialogue about the ring being placed on the finger which goes towards the heart blah blah...if he carried on wearing it then he would fall in love with her. WHAT was that?😕 You know when we see dialogues like this in films, it usually means something else because the heroine is acting so sati-savitri type that eventually the hero ends up falling in love with her.

Gulaal...the female protagonist was shown in such a bad light today with her ukhra hua mu. Why are the creatives making the main heroine look so bad for the sidey?😕 I don't understand what they're planning to do. If Gulaal continues to push him away and Talli carries on with this emotional attyachar...I don't understand where the story would go.

All i will say, i find Gulaal was behaving rather okay right in terms of what her friends told her, on how she was, i didnt see any walls up as such ... she hasnt gone cold or distant in a sense, but she has gone quiet and thats natural in the sense what is going through her mind, she is seeing what Kesar is doing and trying to come up with assumptions and so on... which seems to escalate to the point where Gulaal has to confront him which we saw in the precap
I am gonna put what i wrote in the EDT😊
Shall i tell you what i didnt understand is why had they kept the rings on for so long, to me that just dont make sense
And why do men always wear it on the right hand - i dont get it
Kesar's reaction, sad, guilty and hurt for her, what else can it be
I honestly liked what Talli said to him, however she said it, i still saw a friendship essense, and however much she is hurting and so on, she is still in her own way moving on kinda and trying to smile... - i am not worried about Talli as such in connection to KG and so on
Gulaal is picking up on all the things Kesar is doing, and what her pasand is and so on, so no wonder half of the thoughts she is coming up with... she has had all day to see them and then the night confrontation
As for Gulaal, i see a difference in her how she has approached Kesar in this confrontation, i dont see a cold Gulaal - i just see kinda annoyed and confused Gulaal in why and what Kesar is doing and why... and all this assumptions creating inside her and so on
Again i will say all that her friends have said in the sense, she isnt seeing Kesar for who he is - will have to play a role later on, so for now - that has not been addressed
Each points will have to connect somehow later on
😊

I honestly didn't see the point of Talli's choried from DDLJ line...there was no need for it in the scene at all...if this was a "joke", I for one didn't find it funny...if this was supposed to be some kind of "friendship" scene, again I didn't get it...the scene they showed last week when Talli first agrees to wanting to get married and Kesar speaks to her was so much better closure wise...what on earth was Talli doing today?? Seriously what is the need to act SO mahaan?? Oh I'm smiling through my tears and being so brave...everyone feel sorry for me🤔...THIS is not the way to go about it...I was feeling sorry for her last week in that scene with Kesar...but today she was just UNNECESSARY...too long a scene...and uske baad they are chasing each other around?? W*F??!!

Regarding Gulaal...I won't say they are showing her as a vamp...remember we had a discussion just yesterday about what a REAL and HUMAN character she is?? So again, even if Talli was being all nice and mahaan today, Gulaal is the more realistic character always...if her mood was off today, if she was shown as being a little more aloof and mopey, there was a reason...a solid reason for it which will culminate into something eventually too.

The problem is that the epi was too Talli-fied...and too much focus was given to KT as welll...but otherwise there were some significant moments...

Now we have to wait the whole weekend to watch the confrontation *sigh*

@ bold: That's what my reaction was when i heard her saying that..i mean seriously what was she trying to prove kesu, that she is the only one who cared about him, who undestands him but after the heartbreak she is stil trying to hold herself up. That was pretty weired for me. And kesu's reaction to it was a bit sorry, the way he looked at her in a sympathize way..Confused but good thing, he quickly changed his expression after she said ''w'' to him...

Lennie, Kesar's initial reaction when she first mentions the ring and he looks at it as if he's just realized that they were even engaged at one point...that made sense...it's like he'd forgotten that all this even happened and only her saying all this reminded him...goes to show how much of that phase of his "marriage" to Talli he ever remembers😆

But they dragged the scene a bit in the latter half with Kesar's reaction to her little "joke" about how he may have fallen in love with her if he kept wearing that ring...that was firstly a very stupid line from Talli and then Kesar also just froze in shock...weird bit to watch.

Even later when Talli says, "main teri kabhi jhooti kasam kha sakti hoon?"...Talli was being a little too suddenly all playful with Kesar again...looked odd...both K and G again froze for a bit there when she said that.

I know Gulaal's not actually vampish but Talli is being made to look so saintly that Gulaal's behaviour seems even more cold. Any 3rd person would just think that Gulaal doesn't deserve Kesar etc. while Talli loves him so much.

This is why Talli needs to get out of the house. Seriously the KG fan in me felt so bad in the last scene because we all know they share something that is meant to be but Talli still stands as a threat.

I thought last weeks scene between KT was a great closure too but then they do this!

Terrible episode and in bad taste because it was all about the sanctimonius St. Talli trying to guilt Kesar into a "pity love" mode ...
@Reemz...
Like you I am extremely confused after todays episode and the confusion is compounded by the news snippet about Gulaal the sphinx and the KG rift making a reappearance...
...But in some way I was expecting us (the viewers) to be spanked by the CVs. They gave us a couple of peaceful KG episodes and immediately started punishing us...the messy streak will go on for some time...and who knows whether this story is about Gulaal...it is as if the side character has taken center stage...we know more about what goes in Talli's head (and I really dont care) than in Gulaal's. Till now I have disliked Talli, but today she gave me the creeps - she literally comes across as a sociopath with her silly double edged dialogues...I really dislike this triangle...do the CVs do a couple of good episodes and then outsource their work to some random CVs from other serials?...

But they dragged the scene a bit in the latter half with Kesar's reaction to her little "joke" about how he may have fallen in love with her if he kept wearing that ring...that was firstly a very stupid line from Talli and then Kesar also just froze in shock...weird bit to watch. Talli is taking a risk 😆 what else can i say... but like you say what was all this, i mean i can understand Kesar asking why she wants to marry Kunal and go into the family and so on, but i did like that Talli was the one to see the ring and take it off... did Talli in a way try to make him feel less guilty, coz if you see they went back to friendship childish essense and so on

Even later when Talli says, "main teri kabhi jhooti kasam kha sakti hoon?"...Talli was being a little too suddenly all playful with Kesar again...looked odd...both K and G again froze for a bit there when she said that.

Did Talli even see their reaction
I am gonna wait till monday to see what else Talli says lol, or maybe Monday's episode connects with this episode
I am not worried about Talli at this stage - like i said in connect to KG

You know that was my first reaction too, Reemz...but if you watch the scene again...that last scene...it actually has a lot of significance...yes, K and T were running around chasing each other playfully but the moment Kesar saw Gulaal, he instantly rushed in to the kitchen to help her...even afterwards when Talli is trying to bicker with Kesar, he turns to Gulaal for validation again and again..."Kyun Gulaal?"...THEY are the team in that moment even if Talli is hovering around...and Kesar senses something being off with Gulaal there also but he doesn't pursue it...today was build up to the confrontation in some ways...asli dhamaka Monday ko hoga😆

I think I need to blow some steam off. The last time I got this miffed with this show was when Kesar and Talli were out for like 2 episodes and there was barely any Gulaal.

One thing's for sure. I'm never going to like Talli and if I had the slightest symapthy for her...its sure GONE! No matter what anyone tells me in her defence.

Ok time out from this show for a bit.
