You know it hits me sometimes, how Gulaal is not half as old as she makes it out to be. She's just cast herself in her widowhood-come guardian like deeyarvattu in a way that she can fit among the 'old single women'. Remember the time Talli took her out for the jungle excursion and told her to leave her hair open? How she compared Gulaal and herself? I thought it was another one of those prime examples of how not the world but Gulaal herself sees the idea of moving on and finding her life again so forbidden.

Honestly my respect for Kesar went notches higher. It's unbelievable how this guy is doing everything & anything to make Gulaal happy yet he gives her all the space in the world. He will stand back and be more than glad to just watch her.

Yeh - just like the time he made sure she ate, without imposing. Or when she stopped midway her childhood stories, he didn't press but smiled back, pleased with whatever he had managed! He's being exceedingly patient - and with how much I've taken to this show recently, all the times of the day that I'm just in mad rant modes (which is plenty of opportunity when one becomes a research student, sigh) I find myself thinking of learning patience from the 'cute angry boy' ☺️ 😆

Regarding the last few mins & precap: What's interesting is that despite being amongst her best friends, she actually found most comfort with Kesar. She heard what he had to say, calmed down and as we can all predict she will play the game and WIN! Without even realising, Kesar has built some control over her without actually wanting to control her at all! It's so subtle that neither of them actually realise what's happening in the process.

Kesar was like a 'Jhonka hawa ka' yesterday! Damn good!! Though I miss the multi layered Kesar because now I cannot analyze him to death...But then this was was like a balm on sore hearts...he did so many things...and the thing is he mixes so well with the girls😆...Though that comes because of his upbringing also...He had been sheltered by Gulaal, Devika, Reva and Panba after Vasant and not to forget Talli🤢 so I guess he has that ease😆😆...and anyways he IS a charmer na...😳😳😳😳😳😳
And I loved how he handled the child Gulaal..that is what I like about him...he takes her in every form, every mood...every character every shade...He just so WHOLESOMELY loves her that it is BEYOND comprehensibility and understanding of us VAIN people😳😳😳😳

Kesar is indeed a whole package. We've all crushed on the ideal alpha males here and there on TV, in movies, in books - but what's best to me about Kesar is how credible he is as a boy next door. I know the term gets abused plenty of times with reference to simply cute immature guys. But that's not Kesar. He's boy next door on account of his grey shade. He has his shortcomings, and just like his current rosy picture, even he darkest side of him has been well explored, and put forth. We've seen him from that point of child Kesar throwing a vase at Dushyant in defiance, to marking his return with beating up of goons, to tossing a coin and mocking Gulaal - however subtle - to hurting her ever instance to hide his own anguish, to being plain inconsiderate about leading Talli on, to being back in the shoes of a 12 year old tantrum throwing Kesar - until he evolved into this endearing version... To be honest, I'm really glad no matter his change and donning of responsibility, he continues to be his own guy, and although he's speedily becoming worthy of taking Vasant's place in all sense, not for a second has he become Vasant!
Nah...he cannot BE Vasant...you know that is why it is kudos to CVs...you know when Gulaal initially came to Talsagra, there is a scene where Panba is showing her the album and we see the replica of Chhotu Kesar and he is Chhotu Vasant...and at that time PB was talking about her own DV to MB...and at that time Dushy has passed by...and we all went berserk thinking that DV will happen with Dushy and then Kesuda will grow up having Vasant's face and it will be all haywire😆...But they brought another actor...and boy!! what an actor👏
And the dark side, that grey shade turning into bright sunshine that he is right now, is sooo damn good journey...The way they had shown the boy who had completely lost his marbles, randomly proposing the terrorist and shouting in the middle of the night outside Gulaal to yesterday's Kesar, who discreetly called her out of the hearing range of her friends to stop her 'tantrums' ...Voila!! character development and role reversal ka zordar Combo punch!!!!👏
