Hi Mey simi-how is the migraine? Hope you are fit and fine.

During the pat scene-I loved that he said he didn't let go of Gulaal so he could get her back-which indirectly telling Thalli don't keep the same hope with me. His actions don't in anyway encourage Thalli in any way to keep any hope on him.

Do you think the drama at the jeweller shop was to show Gulaal other side of the story? Like how Kesar is labelled as in public, for Thalli to realize after all if she married Kesar she is the 2nd wife, she is snatching someone's husband. And for Kesar like you said how the public sees the whole thing and what MB said?

BTW don't mind me saying people do ask such private questions, it happens in where we live then a village Is nothing compared to the western countries and believe me people do exaggerate in a way it becomes too hard for us to handle. Some of our peoples thinking never change where ever we go.

Thank you for clearing my doubt about Kesar's head shakes-I thought it was him annoyed of Gulaal's protective wall coming up again.

I was surprised you didn't mention much about the scene where Gulaal tells Kesar that she will come with them then Kesar not falling all with it saying didn't you have work to do?

Kesar is giving just enough space for Gulaal, good to see him not all over Gulaal.

The music/song was indeed very soothing. The whole music in this show is the extra treat for our heart, always always, everytime.

Amazing post, lovely analysis!

Nureat01-You are right about the shop drama and the musical act.

Jzee-The friends clause was the wisest. The earring scene I am confused was she disappointed or relieved?

Somehow I missed your post today as well, but here I am belatedly.
Thank you, thank you

So I personally thought Gulaal was not lost with the exchange in the kitchen. IMO, she was viewing the version of Kesar she's used to - who will come looking and ranting only for her, and then will get his way whatever the means. But she's not threatened/embarrassed by his presence at this point, not even by his public display of attention solely for her.
I specifically liked it when he insisted"Abhi chal na" and also when Gulaal looked at Reva for support. Kesar always wants immediate implementation of his decisions.

In the earring scene - he takes her much by surprise. Kesar has played his wisest card in 'becoming friends' with her, because it gives him a lot more freedom and liberty to 'be himself' with her, than if it was a mere cordiality of forgiving and being forgiven - as exists between Dushyant and Gulaal - not that GK could ever be like that, but it was thoughtful of him to induce the friendship clause. Exactly if not he would never get off with such an act
Gulaal had no grounds to reject him that, and he has given himself a platform to make his moves. I'm not suggesting he is plotting at every point for how to get Gulaal back - but I think he's really aiming to make these 3 months worthwhile - and beneath his Gulaal's happiness is my priority funda, is a deep belief that only he can bring back the happiness. She beats him to it, when she comes up with her long speeches, but just today and now Kesar has seen live proof of how he can draw her out of the shell when he does it the right way... The earring scene was a blatant challenge - this way and that - so full of mischief and daring, that Gulaal didn't know what hit her till it did - and then she had but two options, to remain in denial of comprehending it, or to show comprehension and hence also admit to many other things she pretends blind eye to.
Obviously it was a win-win situation for him.

The fall was symbolic to me, and just that. Kesar's reactions as he saved her, and the moment after she snatches her hand was fantastic! Spooked Galool versions all over today's episodes were a sadistic relief, lol!
Spooked sounds good, not because we are sadistic, because we also want her to find her happiness in life. It is like a bitter medicine to nurse her back from her "illness" of being caught in the past.
Overall - a very well paced and content high episode.

xx

Thanks Jzee for response.
