You know the one set of reactions that really defines their relationship to me is when Kesar tells Gulaal that he loves her and she literally man-handles/physically abuses the poor chap before running away from there. And after all this, you'd think k any other man would be upset or even a bit disgruntled but then you see the very next time they come face to face (when she comes to return the letters) and it's like that "slap-fest" never happened or if it happened, it was just a normal run-of-the-mill reaction.. Neither he asks for an explanation for that thappar-baazi nor she extends one. They just talk regularly.. where she generally tries to convince him (as a friend or whatever) k what he's feeling isn't real ya whatever and he tells her not to questions it. I mean seriously, WHERE is the REACTION to that slap-galore? How these two work - how they fit together and how they generally have a certain understanding about each other is really something else. I mean even now, jab Kesar itna tamasha kar raha hai ya Gulaal itna stubborn behave kar rahi hai, toh really if it had been anyone else he/she would have washed their hands of this or just plain given up. But it's like these two are just really made for each other..

They seriously remind me of kids on a play ground - when the other older people or people that they aren't as "close" with throw a fit, they back down and work around it.. But jab aik dosre ki baat hoti hai wohi "tu seer toh mein sava-seer" shuru ho jata hai.. 😆 Bingo! That's EXACTLY how it is in a sense...it oddly becomes a game of one-upmanship...ego battles...and not even in any VINDICTIVE sense...there's just that hint of challenge in their relationship always...they challenge each other in interesting ways and refuse to back down...they push and pull and prod at each other and it's almost a deadlock until you wait to see who backs down THIS time...it's like an epic battle EACH time😆

Oh it's absolutely never vindictive.. To anyone else, their relationship may seem very much forced/flawed or whatever, the truth is that this is what they are. And something they do enjoy (to a certain extent) the challenge - remember the doodh wala scene when Kesar had just come back? Where he tells her that he isn't a kid and won't drink milk and so she tricks him with a coin toss? You can just see how much they enjoyed this - this push and pull and who wins this round type deal.. And really I feel that the fact that they CAN be this stubborn with each other just shows how comfortable they are with each other - like I said, itna kuch kisi aur k saath hota toh ab tak toh baat kab ki khatam ho gayi hoti.. Baat toh tab hi khatam ho gayi hoti when Kesar had found out that Gulaal knew of Dushyant killing Vasant.. Kesar "should" have been too angry/upset to allow for love and Gulaal "should" have been to guilty/tormented to deny Kesar's "unreasonable" demands to stay in deeyarvatu with him or to prepare his plate for him and such. But the fact of the matter is k they understand each other too well and trust each other too much to let anything stand in the way and while at times they do reach these deadlocks in these challenge-type situation, never once do they get baffled enough by what the other is doing (in terms of them being offended or mortified by it) that they get irrevocably hurt. They never push each other enough (either by choice or by the fact that nothing they do will ever be "enough" in the other's eyes) for either one of them to throw in the towel and call it quits. All their lame actions are always taken in the spirit of "Oh you did this? Great.. Now watch what I do!" type deal by the other.. You know..? *wonders if she makes any sense* 😆

LMAO! Oh man! Me too! She thinks she has this all figured out and honestly maybe in this stalemate she's had the upper hand by denying him any kind word. But in the end, Kesar's going to win this round because he's just going to terminate the situation entirely. Toh ab Gulaal kya karey gi? Ab kis muh sey she's going to maintain her "I won't give into unreasonable demands" wala logic? Since now Kesar's given up on ANY remotely (what she considers as) "unreasonable demands".. *smirks* I so cannot wait for tomorrow! In fact I may actually wake up early on a holiday just to catch the episode/updates as it airs.. 😆 LOL yes Kesar is deffo going to win this round and Gulaal will be FORCED to re-think, re-consider...although I guess I shouldn't get too optimistic...she can find new ways to hold on to her khunnas...you never really know with this woman just like you never really know with Kesar😆...but her shocked expression is guaranteed! That I'm going to watch with relish...popcorn tayyar hai!😆

LMAO!! WORD dude! Just watch! We'll be thinking k Kesar won this round and then Gulaal's going to counter with something just absolutely unexpected! 🤣 But all this apart, I do agree.. If for nothing else, I am watching tomorrow's panchayat scene just to see her shocked expression! Blind-sided! 🤣

Nahi nahi, just like Anu said.. He really just wanted her to prepare the plate for him all through the scene.. 🤔 But she kept denying him even that.. And so in a very last attempt to be even more ziddi than her he first says that she'll prepare the plate for him and then said that she'll FEED him - and then he leaves in a fit. I'm still going to assume that by feed he still meant that she'll bring him the food or something. Of course, it's a double meaning comment and it can also mean that at the very end he wanted her to PHYSICALLY feed him (which I think is stupid nonetheless).. But all I can say for sure is k Jamuna-ba toh mauke ki talash mein theen and she just used that ONE random line to sunao-fy Gulaal.. *rolls eyes* 😆

Thanks Firv and the also Nur for the convo discussion lol 😊
Yep i do agree that from the way Kesar walks up and say can you give me something to eat, he just wanted food, and also to see if she cares for him
I very much agree that these two fit, in how they are and so on - and only these two see the real each other, and they kinda make a whole

Lol, you're very welcome jee.. 😳😆

And I like how you said that they see the "real" each other - that really is the crux of it all k they really do see past each other (when it matters) even if they initially stay upset or butt heads. But in moments that it really counts, they always (for the most part again) have their priorities sorted, especially when it comes to each other..

Yes, they see past each other - 'its their own thing'
When its just them, no one else counts - how they talk, how they communicate, how they argue, how they do the rootha manana thing (happened alot before the leap lol) - what comes across is the real sense, of how they are with each other, it was like that even before the leap... their own little world, with how they were with each other and so on
