Gulaal - as I see it.
Scene opens and Raman is repeating his stuff with Dushyant. This is how they waste the first few minutes. For last 3 episodes it was Talli yapping "suchh muchh Gulaal ko pana chahta hai".. blah blah!.. Khair JamnaKaki steps in. She behaves like a Queen.. Queen Bee. She is always in a mood to pick up a fight, I guess she is mentally ready and whenever she walks in, it looks like a WWF wrestler walking towards the ring.
So friends, new White House conspiracy is now on. 😲 Raman is the chief cook, and he also gave us the hint when he said, ke ye ek din sahi raastey par aa jayega, aur woh din ab zyada door nahin hai, That means Gulaal and Kesar track will reach a resolution and this new track will start. Now I understand that MotaBha and PaanBa are in fact preparing for this new Civil War. 😊
PoonamBa is now sh*t scared and worried about Gulaal. She sends her spy Reva to see how Gulaal is doing. Day before yesterday she was telling Revji that we should leave Gulaal alone so that she can settle down.
Now the scene opens and Gulaal is in the kitchen and I can easily guess that its not any mealtime because Sudha is not there. Talli is cooking and Gulaal is cutting the sabzi.
She is testing Gulaal hearing abilities by splashing the sabzi but Gulaal does not pay attention. She is in a deep thought . Talli tries to explain Kesar's behaviour, but Gulaal ignores and gives her cooking direction. Although she is not angry at Talli, but she is not listening to her hence telling her to mind her own business. (which is spying and peeping in Kesar's room) Its the same Gulaal, who would wipe her tears and hug her and even kiss her (Chi!!!!),
Phir Reva's kid comes in followed by Reva and kid takes Talli the kid outside to play. Kesar stands at the door and calls Gulaal. He asks Gulaal for food as he is hungry. Gulaal ignores him. Reva greets him. (so far so good..)
The Kesar creates a scene with special effects added by Jamnakaki, and Reva is surprised. Jamankaki does not let any chance go by to downgrade Gulaal and pushing her hard to serve Kesar. Kesar also demands Gulaal to give him food herself and goes out and wait. Thanks to the posts writers, JK calls Gulaal as Maharani and again blames her for her careless attitude.
Reva serves him the food, he gets angry and starts calling Gulaal, surprising all the female members of the family (those who like to party at Gulaal misery and taunt her) come out and Gulaal being the chief guest, comes out at the end.
Kesar is upset and angry at Gulaal for not doing what he wants her to do. Gulaal plays cool 😎 but Kesar starts Zidd pe Zidd, Zidd pe Zidd..he wants to eat through her hands. Reva tries to make him understand but nope... Kesar enhances his Zidd and promises that he will not even drink water. Talli bechari ki shakal dekhne wali hai. 😭 She is feeling really bad for Kesar. Gulaal is cool and trying to live according to her fate.
After letting it out he walks out of the hall, and leaves Gulaal amongst the witches. Jamnakaki jumps into the ring and challenges Gulaal. Reva tries to defend Gulaal. Sudha also adds her two fang venom. Jamnakaki finally gives Gulaal the thali to serve Kesar. And Gulaal takes the stand, That she agreed to come as a wife and not as a Daasi. If Panchayaat wants her to stay in the house as Daasi then she will not listen to that.
JK is degrading her for more than one reason, but also wants Gulaal to be with Kesar so that Dushyant can marry someone else. Iss ghar mein Gulaal ab hero se zero ho gayee bechaarri, and Kesar is adding fuel to the flames.
When Gulaal says "ek baat log saaf saaf samjh lein" and she chews the words out of her mouth about wife and daasi and when she finishes, JK confirms from all standing there, "sunna, sunna tum logon ne' what intelligent dialogs.
Notice that for Gulaal to say 'mein tukda thod thod ke ' is like a tongue twister for her.
As usual Kesar goes back to his room, needless to say that Gulaal did not serve him. Instead Reva comes and gives him a blast and says that he is forcing himself upon her and if he thinks this is love than Gulaal wants to live without his love.
Then comes in the historical PreCap which has caused most damage. Talli is holding a thaal full of sindoor and asking "Kesar ke meri maang bhar de".
In most of the big cities, loud hugh and cries were heard, thousands of people jumped out of their windows even from 6th, 7th, 10th floor. Some put the plastic bags around their heads and suffocated themselves, some jumped in front of the speeding trains. Girls tore their dresses and came out crying .. ek kohraam muchh gaya. Some people laughed so hard that they had to be taken to the asylum We should read morning paper to find out how much is the total loss.
The thaal she was carrying had enough sindoor to coverup a cow.

Gulaal sil batte par chatni peece rahi hai. It looks like ke JamnaKaki aur Sudha Bhabi ki chatni bana rahi hai.
Reva assures Gulaal of her support with respect to her role as a wife. And wishes that 'uski zindagi ko koi manzil mile, sacchi khushian milein' and the sil batta comes to a grinding halt. Reva continues "jahan aap ki khud ki pasand ho, khud ke sapney hon, khud ke armaan hon, aakhir kab tak aap doosron ke liye jeeti rahen gi', Then she blames Kesar for his attitude and calling him immature. and Gulaal is thinking hard, aisa kaun sa show chal raha hai star plus pe jis mein kissi vidwah ki pasand .. uske sapne, uske armaan .. ' naa!!! aisa aur koi show nahin hai.
Gulaal counters Reva arguments (she is miss know-all) She has a direction and she knows her manzil, she is here only because of her (Star) pariwar but she does not want to be controlled by Kesar as a putli.
Scene opens and Talli walks in to the Kesar room, she sees the food lying on the ground and its not touched by Kesar. She asks him to get up and come with him. She takes him to the mandir and the precap scene comes to life. She asks Kesar to fill her maang. (although Kesar would need a spray gun to do that) but I wonder if she is trying to take advantage of Kesar as she can't see him suffer at the hands of Gulaal or his own hands or its another sensational statement as a follow up of "Gulaal ko khona ya paana chahta hai". But if you notice she is bringing Kesar to the same situation as Gulaal is in now. Kesar cannot love Talli because he loves Gulaal and thinks it would be wrong to love Talli. Same thing fits on Gulaal and Kesar needs to understand. But when in the flow she says "agar tum ne mujh se shaadi na ki toh mein apni jaan de doon gi". Half of the country yelled in unison .. "Kesar mutt karna .. marrne de issay!!!humari jaan chudha." No matter how blank a look Kesar gives, Kesar possibly understands that as Talli cannot convice him to marry her because he does not love her, therefore Gulaal cannot love him.

Back to Panchayaat. Dushi asks Kesar, aaj ye panchayaat kyun bulai hai. From Dushi question it appears that probably he is the only one who keeps calling panchayaat. He hesitates and says "mein Gulaal se deeyar vatoo thodna chahta hoon' everyone is surprised including Gulaal. He did not say ke mein Gulaal ko iss deeyar-vatoo se azaad karta hoon. He leaves the option with Gulaal if she wants to decide otherwise..
Agay kya hoga ..
Dushyant ke dil main ladoo phootna shru ho gaye. And he immediately gets up and says.. theek hay.. deeyar-vatoo khatum.
and says "yippe!!!!!' and starts hiphop or bhangra ..and sings in joy "deeyar-vatoo khatum, deeyar-vatoo khatum.." and he is happy that Gulaal is available and he can try again. And JamanKaki starts yelling again, ye sab Gulaal ka kya dhara hai. Sudha adds "ye roz roz ka drama hai". Talli says "Sudha Ma aisa matt kahey". PoonaBa cries with sadness.

Gulaal says, "mein iss deeyar-vatoo ko thodna nahin chahti". And JamanKaki starts yelling again, ye sab Gulaal ka kya dhara hai. Sudha adds "ye roz roz ka drama hai". Talli says "Sudha Ma aisa matt kahey". PoonaBa cries with joy.
She knows that this family is the only thing she had, but did not like the way she was treated by Kesar and the witches of Talsagra. But she wants to set the house in order for the next track where Raman's middle 'm' will turn upside down and he will become Rawan.
