Dushyant tried to kill Vasant but he did not get Gulaal. He suffered a lot, became almost a karmayogi devoid of desires and lust. Even Valmiki was a criminal and became the author of Ramayana.

Even if the family members come to know about Dushyant's crime, Gulaal will explain to them and after the initial anger, they will accept him.Once a criminal is not always a criminal. On the otherhand, Kesar has no problem with Raman who tried to kill him and who joined hands with the enemy who humiliated Motaba. It is pure jealousy that is driving this immature Kesar, not the question of right or wrong. Ultimately, Gulaal will marry Dushyant to put some sense into Kesar. And Kesar's feelings for his late brother's wife shows his disrespect to Vasant.

if dushyant n gulaal had to marry,i dnt think dey had 2 wait fr 10 long years n den nly marry vth kesar arnd who by chance z gulaals husband...dats illogical.

comon evrything changes vth tym,wen gulaal was kesars bros wife,den dat respect fr her was der bt nw she z HZ own wife.

n having feelings fr yur wife...wats bad in dat evn thoh he z far younger dan gulaal bt den love znt based on sch things lyk age n all.

n y all hue n cry about da age gap

havnt yu seen men marrying gals far far younger to dem n nobody raises any voice or points a finger.

The marriage between Gulaal and Kesar is not between consenting adults. At that time Kesar did not have any idea about marriage. I am not talking about age gap. It is about taking advantage of that marriage fact and expecting Gulaal to become his real wife. Gulaal is not comfortable with this development and this thing clearly shows with her conversations with her mother. Kesar is just forcing her which is in bad taste. True love requires some faith, patience, a sense of sacrifice etc. Kesar suspects Gulaal. Kesar is impatient. And he just does not want to have a direct talk with any of them. Does he care for Talli who worships him? And how can he expect that Gulaal must reciprocate his feelings immediately and fall into his arms? Wont Gulaal fall in the eyes of Panba, Sudha, Motaba and herself? Gulaal is a self respecting lady. And why cant she decide what type of punishment to be given to Dushyant? Has she not forgiven all the other offenders like JK, Raman, Sudha etc.? She punished Dushyant by treating him like trash for many days and accepted only after he showed his repentance. Dushyant will not care even if he has to sacrifice everything including his life in the interest of the family. Thus his character has showed evolvement from being a selfish lover into a selfless being. Ultimately Kesar has to accept Dushyant.

he definitely had no idea dat tym bt nw he z mature enuf to understand wat it means being smbdz husband.

n frm hz attitude in sm past episodes it seems he vry well accepts gullaal as hz wife.

if yu see how dey perform rituals in mandir n den wen mandit asks who hz wife z or wen anybdy mentions gulaal as hz wife,nt fr a moment he z uncomfortable vth ds thot.

true love requires all things yu mentioned only if its going mutual

onesided love alwas leads to jealousy,possesiveness n many other things as yu r so unsure of the other person

n moreover kesar has always been a rebel,its hz personality wich he cant help.

so ds z showing in hz love also...h z authoritaive,possesive n rude too

Even though Kesar loved Gulaal, he does'nt had a bad eye on her. Unlike Dushyant's Kesar's love for Gulaal is not material and to be honest, true love is not material at all, if it is so then it is not true love anymore. It is something devine, unconditional and eternal like Devdas-Paro, Aunu-Thaani, Heathcliff-Catherine (HeathCliff knew very well that one who ruined his life the most was none other than Catherine but he kept on taking revenge on all others except Catherine, he can only love her to the utmost, nothing passionated him, but her pain)

The pain through which Kesar is going through now is whether he be seperated from his soulmate. This time the pain is going to be much more intense than which he had for 10 long years. He can bear/face anything but the denial of his true love by his love.

I just recently started watching Gulaal. Why did Gulaal forgive Dushyant if he killed her husband?

If Kesar feels pain, he should also understand the pain of others as well.

As for Dushyant, now he is beyond everything. As to why he is not confessing his crime in front of everybody may be the pain it will cause to everybody which will be far greater than any pain they will give him by way of ostracisation. Now he is almost like a sanyasi just doing his duty. And he is not living for himself any more. Is it not better to become such a human being instead of committing no crime and hurting everyone without clarifying things once and for all?

There are so many kinds of love. One is honest love like that of Vasant's. One is obsessive love like that of Dushyant's. One is forbidden love where the other just does not want to reciprocate. And where many just dont take the relationship seriously. Kesar's love is like that. Unless Gulaal heartfully accepts Kesar without feelings of guilt, shame, betrayal etc., there will be no further progress in this.

But this serial is highly interesting with so many twists and turns.

I dont have any objection if Kesar Gulaal end up as a pair if only Kesar becomes more understanding, more mature and clears all sorts of misunderstandings. For that Gulaal must travel an extra mile. Will she do it?

What you mean by forbidden love; coz it is one -sided? then Dushyants was also like that. Besides Dushyant who was more mature confessed his love and showed his interest towards her and forced her towards him(the scene she remembers while Deeyarvathu) was truly forbidden. At the sametime a husband has all his right to love his wife and he has all the right to know why she is distancing from him. He dont know that Thalli is in love with him and anger is his weakness, but he cares for her as a friend and just as a friend.

poor guy lost hz bro,got to knw dat hz cousin killed hz bro,hz brothers wife nw hz wife hd forgiven da killer n moreso dat wife of hz z hz beloved too.n all dat happened at sch tender age

fr 10 years he separated himslf frm evrybdy to gt ovr all dat trauma ...

n nw dat hez bck n getting feelings fr her shz being so indifferent

it wud hav been bad had he been compelling her out of wedlock fr al dat
