exactly. this type of s/l also happens on American shows. This reminds me of a American TV show i watched called one tree hill. the main couple who are like AJ/Guddan. In love and best friends and he's a big basketball player and he goes to a party and one of the girls spikes his drink and makes him think he had spent a night with her. And tries to blackmail him. Wife finds out is angry and doubts him for a bit but eventually knows he didn't do anything and eventually that other girl is exposed.
