Chapter 48
Akshat is getting ready in his room while guddan is talking to her mother on the phone.
Mummy: guddan I talked to your MIL yesterday, she was saying that your baby shower will be held in the 7th month.
Guddan: yes mummy I know she told me.
Mummy: I have told her that after the baby shower you will come home and stay till delivery. She agreed to it.
Guddan: I know she was telling me. Ok mummy bye I will call later. Akshat has to leave.
Akshat: what was your mother saying that you will go their till delivery.
Guddan: yes obviously it's my first delivery so I will go home and maa has agreed.
Akshat: what do you mean maa has agreed. Did anybody ask me? You are not going anywhere.
Guddan: what? Why?
Akshat: no you won't go anywhere.
Guddan: what is wrong with you? Why are you angry? It's still 2 months till the baby shower. We will see that time. Why are you over-reacting?
Akshat: I am over-reacting??? Whatever is it I won't let you go.
Guddan: sometimes I don't understand is it me who is pregnant or you?
Akshat: what??
Guddan: yes you react on such petty things. It's me who has hormonal imbalance due to pregnancy but it seems as if you have some hormonal imbalance.
Akshat: so now I react on petty things. Fine. Princess tell your mother I will not talk to her.
Guddan: champ tell your father ok.
Akshat: bye princess I am leaving for the office.
Guddan: champ tell your father to see himself in the mirror. What is he wearing or have they changed the dress code to coat and towel (laughing hard holding her stomach)
Akshat: princess tell your mother no need to laugh as I didn't forget my pant i was about to wear it and I knew I had the towel still on.
Guddan: champ tell your father to stop lying as he can't.
Akshat: ok bye princess.
Guddan: champ isn't your papa going to wear the tie today.
Akshat looks himself in the mirror and sees he isn't wearing a tie.
Akshat: princess tell your mama that when she isn't talking to me then she won't make me wear the tie as well.
Guddan stands up from the bed and stands in front of him putting the tie around his neck.
Guddan: it's you who is not talking to me. It was your decision.
Akshat doesn't reply to her. She traces his jawline with her finger and he closes his eyes. She stands on her toes and kisses his cheek.
Guddan: so you won't talk to me.
Akshat: no (eyes closed)
Guddan proceeds further kissing his other cheek. He doesn't respond so she moves towards the corner of his lips and kisses him their. Still he doesn't respond. She moves a bit more to his lips but he doesn't respond. In the process guddan has made him wear the tie and she leaves him.
Guddan: champ tell your father that mama has made him wear the tie.
Akshat looks at himself in the mirror and is frustrated.
Akshat: no way Mrs. Jindal. You can't get away like this. You teased me and now you can't leave without finishing what you started.
Guddan blushes at his comment and she moves backwards as he moves forward. She touches the cupboard and finally is caught between akshat and the cupboard. He bends slightly and kisses her on the lips while she let's him dominate. After sometime they part as guddan is breathless.
Guddan: (cupping his face) relax why are you tensed? I am still here. Don't spoil your mood. Please. We will see what we will do at that time only. Ok?
Akshat: ok😘. Bye take care.
Guddan: bye.
During the day nimisha comes to guddan with ansh.
Nimi: di why didn't you have your lunch?
Guddan: nimi, I didn't feel like eating.
Nimi: you know na if bhai gets to know this, how will he react.
Guddan: nobody will tell him anything because I didn't say I won't eat I only said I will eat later.
Nimi: ok. Di can I keep ansh here I have to have a bath.
Guddan: yes of course. Ansh will play with his chachi (tickling him)
Nimisha leaves and guddan starts playing with ansh. After sometime ansh falls asleep while playing, so guddan adjusts him on the bed. She lies on his one side and on the other side she keeps so that ansh doesn't roll down the bed. Guddan also sleeps while keeping ansh close to her.
Nimisha comes to see ansh and is in awww seeing the two sleeping peacefully. She takes a picture of them and sends it to Akshat and Guddan both.
Akshat on the other hand finishes his meeting and thinks that he didn't call guddan at lunch. He takes out his phone to call her and sees nimisha's text. He opens it and smiles to himself. He thinks just few months more and our princess would be lying their.
As akshat didn't call guddan so she called him.
Guddan: why didn't you call? Busy?
Akshat: yes I was in a meeting but then I decided to call you but you were sleeping.
Guddan: how do you know???
Akshat: nimi had send me a pic of you and ansh.
Guddan: she send it to you as well.
Akshat: yes and you people were looking too cute. Ok I have to tell you one more thing.
Guddan: yes
Akshat: I will be late today. I have an important video conference to attend so.
Guddan: ok but do come soon. You know na I can't sleep alone these days.
Akshat: I know I will try to finish it fast. And yes do you have your dinner and do not wait for me.
Guddan: ok. Bye.
Akshat: bye.
It's 11:00 pm akshat hasn't arrived yet. Guddan comes out of her room and sees everyone has slept but light in aarti's room is still on. She goes upstairs to her room and sees she is studying.
Guddan: aarti why are you still awake?
Aarti: Arre bhabhi you here? You need something? You should have called me why did you come here?
Guddan: Arre relax I don't need anything I came to check you, why we're you awake.
Aarti: I have an exam tomorrow so that's why.
Guddan: ok do you need anything.
Aarti: no bhabhi.
Guddan: sure. Should I make you a coffee?
Aarti: no bhabhi you sleep I will make it myself. It's already late.
Guddan goes down stairs and goes to the kitchen to make coffee for aarti. On the other hand akshat comes home and spots guddan in the kitchen. He goes and hugs her from behind. Guddan is frightened and by mistake touches the hot utensil.
Guddan: ahhhh akshat you scared me, who does this?
Akshat: sorry baba. I am so sorry (putting her hand under running water)
Guddan: it's ok it's not that serious. I am fine.
Akshat: what fine? See its turned too red. Btw why are you making coffee at this time.
Guddan: it's not for me it's for aarti. She has exam tomorrow. She said she will make it herself but since I was up and you weren't home too so I thought of should make it. It will save her time too.
Akshat: ok give it to me I will give her.
Guddan: ok take it.
Guddan is lying down on the bed. Akshat comes and locks the room. He goes to change and lies by her side. She adjusts herself on his arm and he wraps the other arm around her.
Akshat: is your hand fine. Should I give you some medicine if it's paining.
Guddan: no akshat I am fine. It was not that hot.
Akshat: ok sleep now it's already late (kissing her forehead). Good night.
Guddan: good night.
