It's evening and AJ calls guddan.

AJ: hii, you reached safely?

Guddan: yes. You say what time are you coming back

AJ: I will come in some time but be ready we have to attend a party.

Guddan: akshatttt 😤😤😤 you know I dont like your business parties. I get bored plus I don't know anyone around.

AJ: relax I know you don't like it. It's just an important party plus they have insisted and yes Mrs. Khurana would be there.

Guddan: pooja's mom?

AJ: yes. Please be ready. I will come to pick you up and yes keep my clothes ready I will come and change.

Guddan: okk. But listen..

AJ: yes

Guddan: aarti has an exam tomorrow and she needs my help.

AJ: that's ok help her once we are back. Tell her to prepare other things till then.

Guddan: ok

She opens his closet and spots the suit that Aarti had got for him. She takes it out and puts it on the bed. She then remembers Aarti had got a colour coordinated saree for her as well and thinks to wear that. She calls aarti to her room.

Aarti: bhabhi going somewhere?

Guddan: yes but don't worry I will teach you once I am back. Relax.

Aarti: ya that's fine. Tell me why did you call me?

Guddan: actually akshat was calling, we have to attend a party in the evening so will these be fine. I mean they are colour coordinated, won't it look too over dressed.

Aarti: no bhabhi not at all. In fact you guys will look perfect.

Guddan: sure???

Aarti: yes. Now get ready. I am going.

AJ reaches home and goes to his room. He spot his clothes on the bed and takes out his tie. Just then guddan comes out of the washroom with hair wrapped in a towel.

AJ: you ready?

Guddan: almost done just left with the hair. You get ready. I will be done till then.

AJ: ok😘

AJ comes out wearing a maroon suit (the one he wore on Christmas party) and is stunned to see her. She is wearing a maroon net saree with a black deep-back blouse. He is just staring at her when she calls him.

Guddan: akshattttt, what happened? Am I not looking good 😣😣

AJ: good, like seriously???

Guddan: akshat what is it?

AJ: I think we should not go to the party.

Guddan: why? I will change if you don't like it

AJ: you are looking stunning (hugs her and starts kissing her neck).

Guddan: you are so mean i thought you didn't like it ( ruffling his hair).

He cups her cheeks and takes her into a searing kiss while she too reciprocates. After some time they part due to lack of oxygen. He touches his forehead with hers.

AJ: let's not go (while drawing patterns on her bare waist).

Guddan: I remember someone telling me that it's an important party.

AJ: yes it is but trust me i don't want to now (and pouts).

Guddan: (kissing his pout) let's leave else we will be late and yes comb your hair.

AJ: (goes near the mirror) btw whose idea was this colour coordination?

Guddan: I was just going through your cupboard and saw this, then I remembered aarti had got this for both of us. Is it looking too overdressed.

AJ: not at all Mrs. Jindal. I think we should leave now.

Guddan: yes.

Aarti stops them in the Hall and clicks pictures of them and everyone compliments them. AJ sees buaji in the Hall and leaves taking guddan along without talking to her. As he is driving guddan notices his mood is off so she unbuckles her seatbelt and kisses him on the cheek.

Guddan: you look extremely hot Mr. Jindal when angry.

AJ: I know you are just trying to deviate my mind.

Guddan: it's nothing like that. I just don't like it when your mood is off unnecessarily.

AJ: unnecessarily, seriously? Who do you think you are? Do you even realise what importance you hold? (raising his tone a bit)

Guddan: fine you want to sulk about this, then be it (facing the other side).

AJ: nobody messes with my wife. You know that.

Guddan: fine then put her in a showcase because she is your wife.

AJ: please I don't want to exaggerate this and argue with you.

Guddan: that you have already done and now please focus on your driving.

They reach the venue and enter the party Hall. Everyone greets them. Mrs. Khurana greets guddan and takes her along while AJ talks with his associates. Mrs. Khurana makes guddan sit on a table and goes to get drinks.

Guddan's Inner Thoughts

What's does he think of himself? What was my fault? I did not even say anything to him. I understand his concern but that does not mean he will act like this. He can't control other people's thoughts and thinking about me and then he has to get angry at me.

Mrs. K: guddan beta where are you lost?

Guddan: nothing much. You say howz uncle.

Mrs. K: ohh he is fine. He might be with your husband discussing some project (looks around to find them). See there, I told you and laughs.

Akshat's Inner Thoughts

See how she is enjoying the party now and what was she saying she gets bored. I agree I was bit too loud but then it's my concern for her. What does she mean by I sulk. Now my concerns have become sulking, great. It's so difficult to understand her but why am I thinking about this, when she can enjoy I too will.

Just then Shanaya arrives at the party and hugs akshat and kisses him on the cheek. Guddan is irked seeing this and Akshat notices this. Rahul also arrives at the party and goes to his mother and guddan. He greets them and hugs guddan which is seen by akshat.

Rahul: so Mrs. Jindal wts up?

Guddan: stop it Rahul, call me guddan like before. Don't make me feel awkward.

Rahul: ok ok i was just kidding 😉 btw where is your husband?

Guddan: (turns around and spots him at the bar with some men and Shanaya who is holding him by his arm and has placed her head on his shoulder) there and points towards akshat.

Rahul: who is this hottie with your husband 😉. Please introduce me to her.

Mrs. K: introduce you to whom Rahul?

Rahul: mom that girl with Akshat.

Mrs. K: ohhhh she is Shanaya Oberoi, host of the party.

Rahul: ok and notices the change in guddan's expressions as he proceeds towards AJ.

Guddan is shocked and thinks ohhh that's why this was an important party. I don't understand why he had to get me along when he had to spend time with her only. See how is he standing shamelessly with her and how dare he allow her to place her head on his shoulder as if I am not here.

She goes and stands behind them. As she is standing a waiter comes towards shanaya, guddan gives him a fowl and the drink falls on Shanaya's face and spoils AJ's dress. Shanaya scolds the waiter like hell and goes to the washroom to clean. Rahul sees guddan leaving.

Rahul: hey akshat, wts up

AJ: what did just happen exactly Rahul (taking out his coat)

Rahul: dude you are screwed for real.

AJ: what do you mean?

Rahul: look at your wife, she is just so..

AJ: angry?

Rahul: ya too much.

Before AJ could answer, Shanaya comes on the stage with a Mike and announces a dance wherein she drags AJ to the stage. Music starts and the song is Lat Lag Gayee from movie Race. She dances sensuously around AJ placing his hands on her waist while others from the crowd join them on stage. Shanaya signals something to a boy on the stage and he pushes AJ towards Shanaya and it seems he hugged Shanaya.

Mrs. K: guddan, is everything fine between you and AJ?

Guddan: yes aunty, why you asking so?

Mrs. K: I mean I just felt like that, it doesn't suit a married man to dance like this. I hope you understand.

Guddan: yes I do.

Mrs. K: beta, I think you should go and join them before others notice it too.

Guddan: yes.

She goes to the stage and pulls AJ from Shanaya's hold shocking both of them while AJ chuckles within thinking he made her feel jealous but he is unknown to the havoc he has created. He starts dancing with guddan but notices guddan is not enjoying.

Shanaya comes and stops guddan holding her wrist.

Shanaya: who the hell are you and how dare you take him away like that.

Rahul: stop it (holding her hand)

Shanaya: oh ya you are her boyfriend. I saw you two in the party. But what's she doing with my man.

AJ: what are you saying....

Guddan: (teary eyes) he's not your man he is my husband and the way you were dancing with him seems you have got no manners of behaving with somebody else's husband.

Shanaya: ohh sorry i didnt knew you are Mrs. Jindal but you can't blame me. Your husband is not a 2 year old kid that I forced him. Guess he was not enjoying the party with you.

Guddan: (murmurs) guess you are right (heard only by AJ).

AJ: what the hell are you talking Shanaya. You are talking to my wife, watch your words.

Rahul: guys let's just sit somewhere and talk. We are on the dance floor.

Mrs. K: rahul we are leaving, do you want to come with us

Rahul: no mom, you people leave. I will come later.

Guddan: aunty, if you don't mind can you please drop me home.

Mrs. K: fine come we will drop you but why aren't you going with Akshat.

Guddan: no aunty, he is staying back. He will come late but Aarti would be waiting for me.

Mrs. K: ok come.

AJ: Guddan...

Guddan: it's ok Akshat, you come as and when you are free. I will be comfortable (and leaves).

Both Akshat and Rahul are shocked. Just then Shanaya comes to sit with them.

Shanaya: Akshat i di....

AJ: please stop it I don't want to talk to you right now. Please leave me alone.

Rahul: man what's up with you? Why are you screwing your life unnecessarily?

AJ: yaar rahul i didn't do anything. I thought she would be jealous but I don't know what went wrong😣😣😣😣

Rahul: are you serious Akshat. I mean who does this. Do you seriously think she should just be jealous of the way she was dancing with you? 😳😳😳

AJ: I know shanaya crossed her limit and she was not supposed to talk to guddan like that. Oh god what mess is this?

Rahul: I think she will kill you at home. She was totally pissed.

AJ: I know but isn't she overreacting. I mean she could have talked to me but no she left.

Rahul: akshat please I can only imagine what you would have done if you were at her place.

AJ: what? nothing. I mean I am okay when she is with you.

Rahul: really 👀 👀👀👀👀. Me and Shanaya are same. For God sake she is your ex-fiancee and I am nothing. And FYI you are sitting with me on the same table only because I came to you and cleared my side after you made the announcement about you and guddan else you loathed me. Right??

AJ: ya whatever it is. I think I should get going. Bye and yes thanks.

Rahul: bye and best of luck.

On the other hand guddan reaches home and goes to kitchen to make coffee for aarti. She then goes to give coffee to her.

Aarti: I love you bhabhi. You are the best.

Guddan: stop this buttering and show what are you left with.

Aarti: bhabhi these are some concepts of Economics. Please explain them to me.

Guddan: ok you have your coffee till then I will check these topics.

Aarti: ok 😘

After an hour she is done teaching Aarti and asks her to sleep.

Aarti: bhabhi you also sleep here since bhai is not here.

Guddan: no no you sleep, I have found a topic on this book I will study this first.

Aarti: ok but wake me up early tomorrow.

Guddan: ok.
