Chapter 26
AJ comes back from the office and sees everyone is having dinner.
AJ: maa guddan ki tabyat kaisi hai. Kuch khaya usne.
Maa: wo to soyi he thi. Dinner nai kiya abi. Aaja tu khana khaa le.
AJ: nahi maa, main pehle fresh hojata hoon aur ek baar guddan ko dekh leta hoon.
He goes to his room and sees her sleeping. He kisses her forehead and goes to freshen up. Once he comes back he hears guddan is murmuring something. He holds her hand and sits beside her.
Guddan: door hato mujse. Mujhe choona mat.
AJ: guddan relax (patting her forehead). Tum ghar pe ho kuch nahi hua hai.
Guddan: (still murmuring) Maine kaha mere paas mat aana. Mujhe par sirf akshat ka haq hai. Please get away from me. Akshat aap kahan hai and wakes up with a jerk.
AJ: (hugs her tight) main yahin hoon. Shhh.
Guddan: akshat hugging him tight and crying.
AJ: guddan kya hua hai tum itna kyun darr rahi ho. Main hoon na yahan. Ab to sab theek hogaya hai. Please relax.
Guddan: akshat mujhe ghin aarahi hai apne aap se. Bahut ganda lag raha hai jab jab wo sab yaad aata hai (while rubbing her arms).
AJ: (shaking her) stop this. What are you doing. You will hurt yourself.
Guddan: akshat please take this memory away from me. Please. Main nahi reh sakti aise zinda. The thought in itself makes me like killing myself.
AJ: (placing finger on her lips) shut up. I understand what you are going through lekin no way that i will let you go away from me.
Guddan: (placing her head on his shoulder) akshat.
AJ: bas please (wiping her tears). Tell me what is it you want.
Guddan cries profusely hugging him and places his hand on her waist. AJ engulfs her in his arms and rubs her back. He then holds her face kisses her tears.
AJ: bas guddan ab nahi. Tumhe pata haina mujhse tumhare aansu nahi dekhe jaate hain.
He holds her and kisses her forehead. She closes her eyes. He continues kissing her all over the face on her cheeks, ears, nose. Then he shifts towards her neck and gives her kisses all over the neck. He then slides her shirt slightly down the shoulders and starts kissing her shoulder and then shifts to the other shoulder.
Guddan is shivering under his touch but she is liking the feeling. The feeling of his akshat on her. The thought of his haq on her was making her feel proud and she felt this was the way to erase the memories of that horrible day.
Guddan takes her neck back to give him more access and he proceeds down but stops in the middle and looks at guddan. Guddan looks back at him wondering why he stopped. She stares at his lips and without a thought kisses him on the lips.
AJ is taken aback by her sudden move but he too couldn't resist and continued the kiss but then they parted due to lack of oxygen.
Guddan: Akshat please give us new memories.
AJ: nahi guddan abhi nahi.
Guddan: (puzzled) matlab
AJ: mujhe galat mat samjhna. I too want this but aise nahi. It shouldn't be an emotional decision. Jazbaat main beh k nahi. I hope you understand.
Guddan: phir main b sorry hoon abhi jo maine kiya.
AJ: (cupping her face) shhh what are you being sorry for. Are you mad, I am not regretting anything that happened. Tumhara poora haq hai mujh par bas try to understand my point. And pecks her lips.
Guddan: I got your point and hugs him.
AJ: I will get dinner for us tum fresh ho jao.
He goes to kitchen to get dinner for them. He enters the room and sees guddan is inspecting her wound.
AJ: (panicked) kya hua dard ho raha hai rushing to her and placing the tray on table.
Guddan: nai nai dard nai ho raha bus kuch irritation see ho rahi hai.
AJ: ruko let me call the doctor. Tum leto na. Kuch mat karo iske saath. Infection hojayega.
Guddan: relax. Itna nai hai jitna aap panick kar rahe hain.
AJ: hello Dr, Akshat Jindal here.
Dr: yes Mr. Jindal, all ok.
AJ: Dr wo guddan ko kuch irritation ho rahi hai zakhm main
Dr: dressing k saath to nai kiya aapne?
AJ: haan actually I changed her dressing aaj he kyunki the wound was bleeding.
Dr: ok. I think you might have tightened it too much is liye Mrs. Jindal ko irritation horahi hogi. Do one thing aap phirse inki dressing kijiye but this time wash the wound with betadine. It will soothe her and keep the wound open for 1 or 2 minutes. So that thodi see hawa lage isko.
AJ: Dr betadine se isko dard to nai hoga?
Dr: nai Mr. Jindal aisa kuch nai hoga.
AJ: thanks doctor.
Guddan: chaliye ab kar lee baar aapne. Ab dinner karein.
AJ: gives her a WTH look. Pehle dressing phir dinner.
He brings the first aid and sits by her side and lifts her shirt.
AJ: dekho agar tumhe dard hua na let me know.
Guddan: ok.
Once he is done with the dressing. He puts first aid box back and washes his hands.
AJ: chalo ab dinner krte hain.
He sits and they feed each other.
AJ: guddan dekho kuch laga hai munh pe.
Guddan: kahan and wipes near her lips.
AJ: nai hua saaf ruko.
He wipes it and licks his thumb. She looks at him.
AJ: chalo ab khatam karte hain.
They finish it and he goes to put the things back in kitchen. Once back he takes pillow and a blanket and places it on couch.
Guddan: ye aap kya kar rahe hain??
AJ: sone ki tayari aur kya.
Guddan: to wahan couch pe kyun?
AJ: tumhe chot lagi haina
Guddan: to??
AJ: agar raat ko tumhe takleef hui ya phir meri wajah se...
Guddan: akshat please. Aapke couch pe sone se mujhe zyada takleef hogi.
AJ: guddan lekin agar...
Guddan: theek hai do whatever you like and with that she sleeps on her side.
AJ: naraz ho
Guddan: nai kis baat se. Aap so jao waise bhi office main thak gaye honge
AJ: aur tum
Guddan: neend nai aarahi. Din main bahut soyi thi main.
AJ: pucca tum naraz nai ho.
Guddan: nai (with a choked voice)
AJ senses she is crying so he gets up and lies down on his side. He snakes towards her and puts his arm on her waist carefully. Then he places his face on her face and kisses her cheek.
AJ: sorry main bahut pareshaan karta hoon na tumhe.
Guddan: nai, i think i am too demanding.
AJ: please dont say like that. Main aagaya na ab tumhare pass. Tumhe pata haina mujhe tumhe leke darr lagta hai.
Guddan: i understand your concern lekin that doesn't mean you will distance yourself from me.
Guddan turns towards him carefully and places her head on his chest.
AJ: i never will. Ek baat bolun.
Guddan: haan boliye
AJ: us waqt when you had that nightmare i stepped back and denied you. Tumhe bura laga?
Guddan: sach bolun
AJ: hmm
Guddan: pehle laga tha lekin then i understood your point and i felt you were right.
AJ: i want that to be the best moment for both of us. Na ki jazbaat main behke. And kisses her hairs.
Guddan: i know and kisses his chest.
AJ: chalo ab sote hain. Good night.
Guddan: good night.
