Disclaimer: This was my 2am rant as I am getting annoyed with the lack of screen space for the male lead, the biggest reason why I watch the show in the first place. I decided to refine my idea and write more sensibly during the dayđ
Based on the discussions in various places whether IF or instagram, unless I'm really wrong, the audience wants to see more of AJ aka Nishant and not just 1-2 scenes per episode with the female lead. Unless you give more screen space to AJ to build his background story, you will exhaust your quota of cutesy scenes like dori tying and tucking in the bedsheet. Guddan has a track with everyone but AJ doesn't. He rarely has some tracks were Guddan is not present- that too only with his mother. I feel like we are missing a side kick whom AJ can confide in besides confiding to the portrait of Antara.
So cvs here is a kind request, you need to increase screen presence of your male lead unless that happens you will lose the core female audience who is watching the show for AJ's charm. Unless you want to disappoint your audience and convert it into a saas bahu show, I want to you to work on this.
As an example, as much as I hate Kumkum Bhagya I have to give them credit for something they have achieved. Why does Kumkum Bhagya work: The screen space is divided really well among all the leads. Shabbir doesn't get any less than Striti, so why is Nishant Malkani given considerably less screen space than Kanika Mann?
Perv as a villain is the next best thing after AJ. He is a delight to watch because he is shown to be bad yet funny. No one can deny that audience wants to watch him being punished by AJ and Guddan. I would like to see some Perv and AJ interaction without Guddan.
