Mumbai, September 01, 2005: After 14 weeks and over 100 hours of rigorous practice, the 6 finalists of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge have been chosen by the Badshahs of Humour Navjyot Singh Sidhu and Shekhar Suman. These 6 talented comedians will also get a chance to perform in front of the talented Johnny Lever & Rajpal Yadav, who joined Shekhar & Siddhu on TGILC to encourage the finalists.
As the competition gets tougher, these finalists will have to be at their wittiest best in order to win the coveted crown of 'Hassi Ka Badshah'. The competition is indeed fierce...but the laughter is endless on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star One.

The task of the finalists of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is to showcase their best talent, best select jokes or mimicry based on a particular issue.
Will it be the talented Navin Prabhakar from Mumbai known for his famous bar girl mimicry or the wacky and funnier Raju Srivastav or the Punjab da puttar Bhagwant Maan? Will it be the small town man Parag Kansara or the Mumbai boy Sunil Pal, famous for his Bengali line 'Moje mein'...
