Amrit and Sohni are sitting on the dining table seriously at work with the wedding plans and preparations. Beeji walks in and chides them saying "Sohni, how many times have i told you not to do office work on the dining table. The god of food (?)/anndevta will be displeased. So both Amrit and Sohni tell her that they are working on wedding preparations. Beeji says that there is no need to do anything elaborate or anything. Bua is listening from behind an open window.
Amrit's large heartedness and good nature come forth. She smilingly says that Rano is the daughter of their house and Balraj would have wanted her to be married in great pomp and show. She then goes on to add that why not she give Rano all her jewellery. To this Beeji is shocked and reminds her that Sohni will also need her share of jewellery. Why is she favouring Rano over her own daughter, Beeji demands. To this Amrit is very firm and says that she wants to gift all her jewellery to Rano and that Sohni will live life by her own destiny.👏😡. Beeji then asks Sohni about whether she is ok with Amrit's decision and Sohni says that she supports Amrit. Beeji is tearful to see all this. Amrit and Sohni decide to go to the bank and bring all the jewellery home.
Bird brained Bua cannot believe her ears. She goes up to her room in a trance and thinks that she had thought wrongly of her Bhabhi. Bua feels that Amrit truly has a good heart. Then she suddenly remembers her brother reassuring her that this is her own house and she should have no doubts about anything. Bua recalls how she has stolen Amrit's jewellery from the locker. She thinks that should Amrit come to know of the theft, she may get angry and not give Rano anything at all. She decides to run and put it back before her theft is caught. Amrit and Sohni leave and Bua stuffs all the jewellery into her bag and runs to the bank in a separate cab. The cabbie stops in the middle and she is delayed.👏
Amrit and Sohni are arguing with the bank manager about the missing jewellery. He says someone from their own home came and operated the locker and that he will get the details from the pertinent ledger. Bua walks in and he says "Lo! there she is". Bua is caught red handed by Amrit and Sohni. All reach home. Beeji wonders aloud why Bua went with Amrit and Sohni. Amrit saves Bua by saying that the shop that bua went to was next door to the bank and so they returned together. She asks Bua to put the jewellery away as they belong to her only.
Amrit is hurt and crying silently in front of Balraj's photo. Bua comes in and begs forgiveness claiming that her "mamta" was the reason. Beeji comes in and demands as to why Bua did all this. Bua is crying and Rano comes in and says "i will answer your question". Rano says that Bua cannot trust anyone to help them. While living in this family she could not become one of them for so long. She says that it is not "mamta" but selfishness that has prompted the action. Amrit is very hurt and says "do you really think i will not do right by Rano? I love her like my own daughter. She folds her palms together and begs forgiveness". She goes away crying. Rano then adds insult to injury and tells her mother that she has insulted her in front of the whole family and that Balraj and Amrit have done so much for them and even Rano's own father cannot match this. Rano walks out.
Bua is distraught and wobbling like a wound up toy. She shakes and shivers and tries to put on a convincing act of crying and repenting. It looks contrived and boring. Thats it for today.
Precap: Bua comes in and complains that nothing is getting done properly for Rano's wedding. She says only the "nachne gaane wale" are ready till now. All the others look at her like "can you shut up!"
Performances and comments:
1. Bua was artificial and could not pull off the repentance bit. She was unconvincing at expressing shock and distress when Rano's accusations were out.
2. Amrit is good as usual. She expresses disappointment and anguish very well.
3. For all Rishi's fans, its a dry day today.
