I've watched it while it was being aired. I can't recall the character names but FL wanted to marry NRI guy instead ends up marrying her villager childhood friend. I remember the way she treated him. I can see TejNiel heading there.

they had such great chemistry and were a lowkey couple not like the main couple and their love progressed so beautifully

i already said it earlier jaadu was like that dish jispe sabse zyaada spend karo and it turns out to be blandest of them

Acting is subjective I don't like this gen in terms of it, 1st season was top notch....yes ML was blocked in certain areas but still he nailed as Virat....actresses were cool as Sai and Pakhi still had many flaws....

I think the major drawback is writing....I used to find old actors thora ott....not a fan as such don't have experience so can't say....

As someone who grew up watching shows that starred amazing actors like Harshad Jen Barun Sanaya to name a few.., I find the new actors performances and screen presence very weak. Writing is crucial too but casting and screenplay is what I look for the most in a show. If you can't emote, then what is the point of having good writing?

I admired Niel’s (Gen 1) acting in Diya baati where he did a small supporting role. But in ghum, since he was given the lead role, I expected more from him.

I hated the other FL Digangana who played veera. Couldn't tolerate her even for a second so didn't watch the show much. But I'm aware of the storyline. Didn't FL marry Veera's brother to get back at him for messing up her chances of marrying a NRI guy?

@bold: same i just skipped her scenes throughout.

@bold: no the fl's father had a heart attack so he asked veera's brother to marry her and she hated him while he loved her then dheere dheere she softened towards him
