I read the the Ghum recent trp is 1.9. That’s very very low. Btw, Ghum2 beat anupama for 11 consecutive weeks, not 4 weeks. Basically nearly three months and it became top 1 show within 3 months of Gen2 start. Just thought to mention that.

IshRa definitely had the best and the most unique wedding in ITV..The culture clash, North vs South banters, Raman being forced to eat rasam, Ishita and Raman hilarious banters..everything was super fun to watch. I especially love the ost that they used when Raman and Ishita were doing the phere..It goes like "Bandh gaya yeh Bandhan, ek hue do dil.." It was as though the universe was singing that to them after conspiring to get them married so that these two broken souls can heal each other ❤️I literally have goosebumps everytime I watch that scene

I actually loved all the OSTs of yhm..The lyrics of the OSTs used to perfectly match the dynamic of IshRa and they had perfect OST for every situation

YHM OST's one of the best OSTs in the history of ITV. I would say ekta did magic in this case. Ishra had the most natural and organic progression in their relationship given the past they have.

I heard about the show when it was aired but never watched. But somehow just started watching one episode where ruhi asks Raman to not marry Ishita thinking he is the groom, before ishra marriage, and decided to watch the complete show. I watched the complete show uninterrupted till Ishita pregnancy track byniot sleeping for 30hrs or so..... later I rewatched many episodes, read the ishra stories posted here and wattpad.

Even though I am a big fan of ghum S1 never watched this ghum S2 revamp even after knowing that it is based on YHM because I don't want to spoil the feel of ishra, ruhi and adi. OG are mostly most except in rare cases where remade versions are better that OG. But I agree it will.be good if you are watching the remade version for the first time.

I've seen so many people who watched yhm after it went off air and loved it..It's a binge worthy show especially the initial 300-400 epis..I've rewatched yhm's initial epis so many times that I've lost countIt has great rewatch value. Their progression from parents to lovers is so beautifully done..Especially when you binge watch it, you would see how with every track, IshRa came closer to each other.

I've seen so many ghum fans on twitter saying that yhm was boring because there are no lead centric tracks..but that's not true at all. In yhm, every track was used as a plot device to progress the relationship between the leads. This is exactly what is missing in ghum, they simply are copy pasting drama without ishra scenes. Ghum season 3 isn't even a faithful remake.

Ganja is just randomly copy pasting scenes without putting any logic or making base n above all there is no progression btw leads with savi having no career n behaving like a bechari fl when Ishita was never a bechari but a strong fl with her own career...Frankly ganja writers r not that capable to show romance or emotions like ekta did in yhm..

@bold..... so very true....

Every track progressed their relationship.....specially till that shagun and Ashok marriage track where shagun comes back to bhalla house.... by then, strong bond and understanding is there between them and shagun could not do anything to create misunderstanding between them....

I like the way they tried to address Ishita insecurities about her place in raman's life in presence of Adi and shagun...
