This exactly!! Like I can understand they don't like Satya or Harshad as they wanted Sairat end game. But in order to justify the hatred, the story for past 800 cannot be changed to suit the narrative. Yes l Sai loves the abusive two timer no matter what, but real life sensible people who called it out until few weeks back sudden justifying the abuser incl past incidents boggles me. I am not discounting mistakes of Sai, she did her fair share and still doing it. Infact the writer instead of elevating Virat's character is bringing Sai to his level to make it acceptable for Sai to go back to him. Sai was so much tortured by Chavans and Virat after the Shruti track, not once did we get a parallel with Virat. The more audience justify Virat, it just shows me what they are willing to accept in a father, husband, brother and son.

Maybe people like me are not meant to be in a forum like this. I do not belive that step parents always molest their spouse's children or that the wife needs to go back to her abusive husband and adjust for the sake of her children.

No wonder ITV shows have jijas pursuing saali and devars pursuing their bhabhis, and still make people justify and sympathize such men and vilify the ladies. I miss shows like EHMMBH which showed loving sisters, jija saali relationships unlike these days Of Abhi Arohi, Angad seerat, Arto Cheeni, Fateh Jasmine and so on.

Its one thing to like an actor but another to defend an indefensible character like V. Deeply disturbing the extent to which makers and some audience members are defending a criminal and refuse to call out blatant abuse. Just because its a fictional show doesnt mean that the abusive relationship they have shown can be called soulmates waala pyaar. if people cannot call things out in a fictional show, real mein toh 100% nahi karenge. Real life is way more complicated. its irresponsible of makers and channel to end the show by saying Sai V toxic relationship is saccha pyaar.

in the show itself the distinction is clear. Satya got mad, and spoke to Sai about it asking her questions. V got mad, he assaulted Ajinkya, he assaulted Satya too, he manhandled Sai more than once, threw her out of the house, ran on the roads screaming her name, publicly embarrassed her time and again. so even if we take an extreme stand and forget all the reasons why Satya is right to be angry- even so, he has reacted with so much more poise than V ever did. He used his words. whereas V has physically assaulted people on top of all the emotional/mental trauma he inflicts on people.

I wish if Ghum FD had collectively rejected Virat and harshly criticized whatever they showed in name of love- things would have been better.

People went overboard defending Virat for sake of Sairat and actors and makers have capitalized on that. Till date when they are stuck they lift stupid reasonings from Virat/Sairat fans on twitter or IF. Amount of bashing Sai got from Virat/Sairat fans for rejecting Virat during anniversary or after marrying Satya- Virat didnt get half of that when he abused Sai post Shruti track n Marriage with PL. Its disheartening that people stopped looking for so called ‘positive’ sides of story as soon as Sai is in his position.


All defense Virat got only shows deep rooted patriarchy- A man does it, its fine but woman can not. PL, Sai or Amba- they all have to be one man woman- sacred for them for life. And they are still questioned and blamed for separating kids and what not BUT Virat n Viju gets labeled eternal lover despite being with two women and having full fledge affair/relationship n family and ghosting one woman in name of responsibility.

Sadly all harsh criticism for Virat was shoved as hate for ML for his personal relationship and they used that excuse to keep showing this pathetic narrative of man being with two woman is ok and can be differentiated in name of Love and responsibility, and they can claim their love whenever w blood relationship and family card.🤮

Just saw clip of Virat taking transfer- for Nth time.

Sai is always labeled bhagodi while in each track they repeatedly showed Virat taking transfer and running away - now even leaving kids behind.

Only time this so called zimmedar man took stand for ‘family’ was when he had to choose PL! 😂 They are making Virakhi more n more legit every track! He will leave his family when they need help, but couldn’t leave PL for sai n his son!

Had he left if PL was still there or stayed back for his jimmedari? They have only implied that Virat needs Either of these two woman in his life. Sai or PL. For him its always either or - (best case- both)

who are we to decide who is deserving & who is not? I don’t care how the actors are as people & that perception can be deceiving too.

I am introvert & have been labeled as snob or too proud of myself for that. I & people close to me know real me. So don’t go by articles. IVs can be deceiving too. There we articles praising both Neil & Ayesha by coactors & they still may not get along. Happens. I tell my MIL & SIL that you may know your son, brother but not my husband. A person is different with different people. People who are in love think their partner is best , their soulmate & few years down the road if they have fall out/ break up you get to here the opinion change 189 degrees.

So basically I don’t care about NB, AS, ASB, HA as person. I see their characters. How I look at that or my interpretation of what the makers want to say about the character may not be same. The show is for entertainment. The characters are not my family friends. I know right from wrong & accept in fictional characters things are exaggerated to make it a point or for drama or to take story ahead. This is not real life.

When I want to see inspirational feel good shows or movies there are things like Ted Lasso, forest Gump. The most famous pak drama is Humsafar. Ideologically I had problem with that show & didn’t get why people loved it. Could only enjoy it when I accepted that it’s fiction & not real life. So it’s ok as long as I know what’s right & what’s wrong. And my favorite line from ghum is tumhara sach mere sach se alag ho sakta hai. Which is true even in real life. Two people on opposite side can be right.
